My 18th birthday FINALLY arrived and my baby has made it somewhat more special to me. NikNak and I are still together and we are happy.
Since we still had to go to school as it's a Friday, she took me out to Starbucks during and let order as much food as I wanted.
During the classes that we had together, we stayed at the back kissing up on each other... but then again we do that anyway lol.
I really appreciated Nicki trying by all means to make this day special for me. No one has ever done that before.
Rih on the other hand hasn't called or texted me all day, not even to shoot me a lousy happy birthday text.
I don't think she likes Nicki that much, when I mention her name she just becomes nonchalant. And Nicki is exactly the same way too... it's frustrating cause they're both important to me
Rih and I have become closer friends for the past few months though, no matter how mad or annoyed we are with each other, she always picks me up after school when I have music class.
I have discovered that she is a lot softer than she wants everyone to believe, when she's not Bird, she's the sweetest person ever.
Something about how I see her now just changed. It's probably why I can't stay mad at her. Bird is an asshole no doubt but she just needs the one thing she hasn't gotten in forever.
"So what are you gonna do for the rest of the day?" Nicki asked me as we walked out of the school, I was accompanying her to the bus stop
"Nothing really, probably just crash. Actually I'll probably just sleep the entire weekend" she frowned causing me to chuckle
"I'm sorry baby, I wish my mom wasn't forcing me to go with her to New Jersey this weekend. We could've done something together" I smiled then perked her lips softly
"it's okay babe, I'll actually enjoy this weekend" I offered her a smile hoping to make her stop frowning.
She nodded her then kissed the palm of my hand. After she took her bus, I walked home like usually.
I found my nana with her bags packed and all ready to go. I forgot that she's going to Atlanta with the church. That means I'm gonna be all alone in this house
"What time are you guys leaving?" I asked her. She was making food in the kitchen. She treated me like such a baby and honestly I liked the attention
"In 30 minutes actually, we are all meeting at the church." She said. I decided to go stay in my room and play music to relax
