Betty's Pov:
"Who is that eye candy?" Kevin says smiling in my direction, "that's the new kid, Jughead Jones? I believe his name is." I say looking at Kevin with a smirk on my face. "Wait aren't you giving him a tour today, and if so can I join!?" I look at Kevin with my eyes telling him to stop making a big deal. "See ya Kevin I got to go give my tour" as I skip over to Jughead. "Hey I'm Betty, Betty Cooper and l'm meant to be giving you your tour of the school," We made eye contact and I could see his stunning eyes that were a beautiful green colour that reminded me of a rainforest, beautiful and green. "Alright cool, well I'm Jughead Jones the third, but just call me Jughead," he looked away and for a second and I was about to call him Jug but I didn't wanna make a nickname on the first day. "So Blondie where's the cafeteria? I'm kinda craving burger's" He gives me a wink and I'm pretty sure I started blushing. Already on the first day and I have a nickname from him. "Ahhh... This way... Come with me," oh shit I say to myself I was to focused on him I didn't know what I was saying.

After we get our food we make our way over to the picnic benches where Archie, Veronica and Kevin are. Archie and Veronica have been dating for ages and you could say that Kevin and I are always third wheeling. "Archie, Veronica and Kevin this is Jughead he's new and probably will be hanging out with us from now on." "OMG! Aren't you a serpent I've heard about you?" Veronica says with a miss know it all face on. I looked at Jughead confused wondering if he actually was a serpent and then I started wondering to myself, why did I like that feeling of the darkness inside him?

Jughead's Pov:
Betty her face it looked really confused and Archie and Kevin froze "Betty's got a bad boy" Kevin say's under his breath. "Shut up Kevin" Betty says walking off. I catch up with her and tell her I'm sorry if that made her think different off me but she kept quiet. I liked Betty she was really nice and I felt like we could be really good friends so I didn't wanna lose her with this stupid serpents thing. "Hey" I say and grabbed her arm and pulled her in front of me but she was so close I just looked at her and saw the ocean In her eyes and the waves in her hair which was a nice golden white blonde. "If any of this serpents bullshit made you upset I'm sorry" I said looking into her eyes when suddenly she looked even more confused "I wasn't mad or upset at you about the serpents if anything I find it cool, I was thinking about my self for a second and just wanted to get some space but I'm actually glad you came with me." Betty's said and my heart stopped for a minute did Betty Cooper just say she was glad I was with her? I like her as a friend nothing more, And it's only the first day anyway even though Betty and I have a connection and have been talking all day doesn't mean I love her or like her or anything, does it?
