"I'm so sorry", Wonwoo whispers in a broken voice, a tear rolling down his cheek. He wishes he could stop loving her, he wishes that she could just be some distant memory. He wishes that he could push her away, that he could hate her and ignore her like how it was in the beginning.

But with every minute she's gone, he only falls deeper in love for her. Every he sees her, he knows that she must be the one.

I must be mad...
Madly in love.

Because of the sudden news of Taehyung's death, Taehee decided to come out and tell someone that she was alive. And it just so happened it was the receptionist who told all of Korea that Kim Taehee, the so-called murderer's younger sister, was alive after 12 years.

Wearing all black on a rainy day, Taehyung's funeral is taking place. The dark, dreary and rainy skies represents the atmosphere of the whole event but most importantly Taehee's mood.

She feels hopeless, numb, unloved. She thinks its as if God is playing a cruel joke on her.

With the black and white band wrapped around her arm, she stares at the final memory that she was able to capture with her brother, tears forming in her eyes as she touches the glass with her shaking fingers.

"I-I'm so sorry", Taehee apologizes brokenly, her heart shattered. She feels someone put their hand against her back, pulling her into a tight hug as he stares at the urn in front of him, a white flower wreath around its circumference with a picture of her deceased brother behind it.

"I'm so sorry, Taehee...this shouldn't have happened to you", Seungcheol whispers, hiding her under his arms.
"I just found him...and now he's gone. He didn't even say goodbye", she murmurs in a hushed tone, tears forming in her eyes once again even though she's tired of crying. Seungcheol wipes her tears with his tie, rubbing her arm up and down.

"I'm going to get you some water and tissues. Maybe some food too, you haven't been eating right in the past week", he says, pulling away from Taehee, but she tugs on his sleeve.
"Don't g-go", she stutters, afraid that he'll slip away from her finger tips. He puts both of his hands on her cheeks, looking into her watery eyes and strokes her cheek, brushing away her one fallen tear.

"I'll be back soon. There's no way I'm ever going to leave you alone", he says quietly, pulling away. Taehee nods, looking back at her brother's photos and diploma, lowering her head at what his major was.

Music.

"I'm sorry that I let you down"

She hears clattering behind her, the sound of murmurs filling up her ears as she feels the soft touch of a light hit her back. She lifts up her head, already knowing who it is.

"Whenever you're ready, Ms.Song and Ms.Yoo"

Taehee stiffens, tears falling from her eyes quickly as she hears feet approach her, but suddenly stops.

"But shouldn't we ask for her consent? She is the mourner right now and I don't think she's ready...she just lost her brother", she hears a soft voice ask, her voice shrinking towards the end.

"She'll end up saying no to begin with. Either way it'll make a great story", a firm voice says, cold and relentless. "And yes, we shall begin"

"Hello, I am Song Haejin here at the scene of Kim Taehyung's funeral. Right here we see friends and family gather around to mourn the murderer, seeing that he committed suicide not too long ago"

Taehee clenches her fists, shaking as she hears the woman's piercing words.

You monster.

"Kim Taehyung committed suicide last week because he couldn't handle the feedback after people found out he was a cruel, merciless murderer. He jumped off of the Han River Bridge, no one trying to stop him because they knew it was for the best"

Mingyu tried to stop him, someone cared. It wasn't for the best, he wasn't a murderer.

"And on this rainy day, we have people missing this killer, one person in particular missing him greatly. His younger sister. Now we shall have an interview with her right now"

She hears Haejin walk up to her, the clicking of her heels making her go insane.

"How does it feel like to find your brother 12 years later to have been a murderer? How does it feel to know that you are related to a ruthless, merciless killer?", Haejin asks, her cold voice ringing through her ears.

Taehee clenches her fists and grits her teeth, tears falling faster and faster.

"Turn off the cameras", she mutters quietly.

"Hmm? I didn't catch that"

Taehee feels her knees weaken, too tired to tell her again as her vision gets blurrier and blurrier. She feels herself falling, but someone catching her quickly, covering her face with his body.

"She said turn the cameras off right now", a familiar voice says shortly, holding onto her fragile body tightly. "Do it. If you have a sense of human decency then do it right now"

"But Wonwoo, we're working--"

"Just do it! Can't you see that she's tired and weak?! Just leave and let her mourn over her brother!", he screams, looking back at his mother with fire in his eyes.

"I am your mother--"

"I don't need to hear it!! Leave!", he starts to tear up, his grip tightening on Taehee and tries to keep her up, feeling her body becoming limp.

"Wonwoo...", Taehee hears Minyoung's voice whimper.

"Didn't you hear me?! Leave! Turn the cameras off and get out!! Let this be a private event!!", he stands up, kicking down the cameras and the lights, breathing heavily.

Haejin sighs, annoyed at her son's actions.

"Did you get enough shots?", she asks the cameraman. He nods hesitantly, afraid. Wonwoo goes up to his mother, grabbing her by the collar and glares at her, shaking.

"I hate you so much, you know that? I hate you", he confesses through gritted teeth. "Now get out!! And never bother her again!!"

"But Wonwoo--"
"Get out, Minyoung. Come back when you aren't reporting this", he lets go of his mother's collar, pointing at the door. Haejin stares at her son, sighing before signaling her crew to wrap it up, leaving along with Minyoung.

Wonwoo sighs, walking back to Taehee and crouches down at her level, bring her close to his chest and allows her to cry into his chest.

"Please...go", she begs weakly, trying to push him away. Wonwoo shakes his head, pulling her closer and hugs her tightly. He strokes her hair, breathing shakily, lowering his head onto her shoulder and starts to sob quietly.

"I'm so sorry", he cries, his grip on Taehee firm. "I-I...I have no one to go to but you"

Taehee cries harder, leaning her head against his chest and feels hopeless, defenseless and feels like utter trash.

I wish that I could hate him, I wish that my feelings could change from Wonwoo to Seungcheol. But I can't, it's so stupid but I can't.

She knows that this is wrong, that her feelings are wrong. She knows that she should forget everything they did together, make it a distant memory. Taehyung is dead because of Wonwoo's mom, yet why can't she let go?
