#16) Familiar Faces.

Aria and I were finishing up as we grabbed our room keys to get back in granted by Mrs. Gold today. (If you don't remember, Mrs. Gold is Yukio's assistant.) The door was previously unlocked by her so we could get to the bar. Of course they couldn't be bothered to give directions so we are leaving early. I finally got that complementary Doma Daka coat so I wore that overtop of my dress.
The place was gargantuan. One of the hardest things to navigate. Eventually we found our way to the atrium but it took I would say about 20 minutes. They just expect you to know where everything is here. Like we've ever been here before.
The bar was right across from the pool. I'm starting to think this is less than a headquarters and more of a resort. I guess even evil businessmen need to have fun.
"Evangeline! Aria! You made it! Aria, order whatever you want. On me. Evangeline, I want to talk to you for a minute." What could he possibly want this time?
"Sure," I sounded confused, which I was.
He looked both ways and sneakily gave me glasses? "I heard you broke your contacts. Here, I found out your prescription."
"Wow. Thanks Yukio," I smiled as I put on my new lenses.

I joined Aria over at the bartender while she ordered Scotch. That was always her favorite.
"Let's go meet the team. I can see Domaku at that booth over there with some others. Plus I asked the bartender," Aria said.
I agreed as we made our way to their booth. Aria handed me my drink, bourbon. She always made me try new things.
"You two must be the new members," A familiar voice said.

Yuri, Mimon, Osaka, and now Oleander are at the computer. Earlier that day Mimon picked her up to work on the case.
"That's strange," Oleander said.
"That's what I said," Yuri replied.

"What's going on Yuri~Kun? Oleander! When did you get here? And Sachael!?"
Mimon facepalmed. "Don't you remember? We picked up Oleander to help us with the case. And what's this about Sachael?"
"I see her over there! She's talking."

"I forgot she was a news reporter," Yuri reminisced.
"Oh yeah. Maybe we should ask her for help then? She'll have the scoop on everything Japan," Oleander suggested.
"I like it! Osaka? Want to find her for us?" Mimon sent her away,
"Why me!"
"Because.. um.. you're the only one who can!" He came up with.
"Really!"

"Whatever gets you up in the morning," Oleander said with sarcasm.

"Just go," Yuri sounded exhausted.
She trailed off in a daze, thinking about what Mimon said, while flying off to Florida. If she even knows where that is.
