Based of the chassis of the M-31, the M-18 is built around its main weapon - a 236mm railgun that fires thenim-tungsten kinetic impactors. Intended to counter some of the super-heavy ground vehicles fielded by the powers, the M-18 has also proved itself effective against enemy fortifications as an assaut gun. It has only light armor and defensive fields. It exchanged protection for greater mobility, and has a top speed in excess of 140kph.
