"Adi? Adi! Where are you little guy?" Shouted Persephone, walking around a large garden on Olympus.

Persephone knew exactly where her son was. He was behind the brush right in front of her giggling loudly. Persephone sighed and smiled.

"Guess I have to go back to the underworld alone and leave my Little Adi here. Well, guess I'm off." Persephone started to walk off and a small boy jumped out from behind the brush.

"No! Don't leave me here mommy!" Adi cried out. Persephone picked up the small child and cuddled him.

"I would never dream of it. Now, we need to get back to your father." Adi nuzzled his head into his mothers chest and Persephone just started to walk off, away with the west wind, down to Hades.

-----

"Papa!" Adi was passed to Hades and Hades squished him easily in the hug.

"Hey Little D, is it winter already?" Adi put his arms around Hades neck and looked at Persephone.

"Mommy, do I get to stay here all winter or is Erri gonna come get me?"  Adi asked.

"Uncle Eros is going to get you before winter starts so you can stay on Olympus." Persephone said. Adi frowned and looked up at Hades with a quivering lip. He buried his head in Hades shoulder.

"I don't be on Olympus! I wanna stay here with Papa!" Adi started to sniffled and hold on to Hades tighter.

"Little D, it's not safe down here. You need to go back up to Olympus when your uncle gets here." Adi sniffled and cried into his fathers shoulder. Hades bounced him a little and rubbed his back. "Adi, you need to calm down. You wanna go see Cerberos before you have to go?" Hades started to walk off as Eros flew down next to Persephone.

"Hey, the kid okay?" Eros asked.

"He wants to stay here with Hades." Persephone said with a sigh.

"Why not let him? I spent a lot of time down here. The souls were just so talkative that I never go bored. Anteros spends time down here, but really only to talk to Hades. But, you know how that went." Eros laughed a little.

"Yeah, it prophesized that a daughter of Zeus would be sacrificed to Hades before his rang of terror." Persephone glared.

"Right, and then Zeus just let Hades take you because Hades was scared of the prophecy coming true. Demeter was pissed and I remember that dinner. Zeus got his ass handed to his, and I wasn't the one handing it to him. Aw, so, why can't the kid stay down here?" Eros finally asked. Persephone sighed and was going to talk when Adi came running up with Hades.

"Mommy! Cerberos had little puppies! I have to have one! Please!" Adi said, jumping up and down.

"Hey kid, calm down, what's a Cerberos?" Eros said. Hades smiled.

"Cerberos is my three headed dog who eats humans who try to rescue souls without my permission." Hades said, almost laughing at Eros's expression.

"So that's why you don't wanna leave him down here, got it." Eros said, nodding at Persephone.

"Actually, Cerberos is pretty much harmless. She's calm most of the time." Persephone told Eros. Adi looked at Eros and frowned.

"You're taking me back to Olympus aren't you?" Eros nodded and put a hand out to take Adi's. Hades quickly put an arm around Adi and looked suspiciously at Eros.

"Persephone, I thought I was taking Adi up to the mortal world and Zephyrus was coming to get him. Why is HE here?" Hades glared at Eros.

"Hades, Eros is going to take Adi straight up to Olympus. This way I don't have to worry about him getting there safely." Persephone kissed Adi on the forehead and looked straight at him. "You stay up on your studies, do anything any adult says, don't follow any of your cousin's examples except for Anteros. Follow him into a fire if he goes in one because it just might save your life." Hades and Eros looked at each other confused and shrugged. "And, if I hear you misbehaved, ran away, or bad mouthed a god, even a minor god, I will have your Papa take the Cerberos puppies on the other side of the river of Phlegethon. You hear me?" Adi nodded and giggled.

"Yes Mommy." He hugged her and then looked up at Hades. "Why can't I stay here with you?" Adi threw himself at Hades and Hades picked him up.

"Adi, I will be right here. If you need anything tell Hera. She'll message me about it, okay? It's only a few months and then Mommy will join you up in Olympus." Hades Hugged the boy hard and Adi cried a little.

"Hey, Seph, can I talk to you?" Eros pulled Persephone aside. "Just let him stay!"

"No, I am not letting my child stay in this hole for a season. Winter is so fun up in Olympus. He can stay by the fire and study with Anteros. He can't do that down here." Persephone rubbed her arms. "Eros, I'll let him stay here eventually, but I can't watch him right now. Just, let me get him." Persephone went to Hades and Adi and glared at Adi. "Adi, you will go up to Olympus. Now." Her voice was stern.

Adi buried his head in Hades chest and Hades sighed. Hades handed Adi to Eros and Adi started to scream.

"No! Stop! Papa! Don't let him take me again! I wanna stay! Papa!" Adi shouted, tears streaming down his face and his screams filling Hades head.

His screams got quieter and quieter and Hades sat down on the ground.  He dropped his head and Persephone sighed.

"Hades, he's fine. I just-"

"You just think that I won't keep him safe and that I can't be an adult. I get it." Hades got up and walked towards the temple.

Persephone sat down and sighed. She looked to the entrance of Hades as it closed.

"Hello Winter."
