Chapter 1

A Beautiful mansion,Delhi

A young charming girl come out of her Audi R8 In black crop top and blue shorts with swaying open black hair with brown highlight n a big smile on her face is walking towards the living area where her dad n grandma are present.

Girl: Dad...wat is so important that u wanted to discuss so urgently.

Girl's dad: We have arranged your marriage with a prestigious and a well known family. You have to meet the guy next week.

Girl smiling face changed to a sad one.....
Girl(unhappy): No dad. You can't do this to me. I don't want an arrange marriage with some rich guy and be his trophy wife. I don't want to marry at all now. First I want to make my own identity here in India .

GD: You are The Malhotra! You don't need to make your own identity. You already have a big name. You don't need to prove anything as you already are a famous and well known designer.

Girl: No dad, I want to do this without a surname .I want to start from a zero.

Girl's Dad: Don't be stupid. You won't be able to do anything without the family name and money.

The girl got angry. Though she loves her dad very much she can't just accept this. She is also her mom's n dad's daughter, She won't back out without a fight.

She was very stubborn and Mr Malhotra knew that very well after all she was his princess, his one and only child!! She was even more stubborn then his late loving wife.

After his wife died 10 years ago due to cancer, leaving him all alone with their 14 years old princess .Without his mother, he wouldn't be able to take care of his princess as it was hard to handle a teenage daughter who lost her mother at such a young age. But he couldn't have afforded to fail, as she was the only symbol of his and his wife Priya. They both love her too much.

Girl: Are you challenging me dad. I will prove it to you .Just wait n watch.

Mr M: You don't need to prove anything to me, I know my daughter can do what she wishes for. You don't know d world....You won't be able to survive a day without our family name and any help from me....
He tried making his daughter understand though he knew its difficult but he wanted to try his level best....after all he can't let her face the ugliness of this world that to alone.

Girl didn't replied anything as she knows it is futile to talk with her dad at present, as he is very proud of there family name. And why wouldn't he be, they are one of the richest family of India. He still thinks of her as she is his little girl while she is 24 year old and a successful fashion designer!!!

She has completed her course from Paris and has returned to India 6 months back.....She worked in Paris for 3 years as a designer.

Starting her journey was not difficult because of her being a Malhotra, they owned many fashion houses in India and world wide . Her dad contacts made it easy for her but also she was very good with her designs. She became successful in no time. She has done many contracts with vouge Lakme etc...and her designs got world renowned and are in so much demand . She is famous for her designs in Paris London Sydney New York n many more famous cities under name of AM Design .She already have her own fashion houses at the international level in all famous cities of Europe Asia Australia n USA.Her designs are sold worth crores. And she only designs for famous actresses VVIPs and the people who can afford her. Other designs are done by her staff which goes to all upper elite groups in all popular cities.

And now She wants a break from being a designer for few months atleast, after continuous working from past 3 yrs!!

She just want to try something different and something interesting, being Wedding planner was one among them. Also her mother was a event planner and she want to try to experience it.

Girl: Dad I want to do this on my own before I marry someone and become a wife. I want to find true love....like you and mom had!!

She tried emotional blackmail as she knew her dad will eventually give in, she just had to try all puppy faces n love cards. Her dad is a believer of true love as he loved her mom the most and still loves her even though she is no more.

Mr M: Atleast meet the guy...he......but He was cut off by his mother who spoke first time from the start of the conversation.

Umadevi: Ravi beta let her try atleast .I know my Ani is so intelligent n hard working. we should give her the chance of finding her own life and chance of true love.

Mr M: But maa what about the proposal. They are very well established people ,we know them personally too . They are our family friends and I know the eldest son will be the best match for our Princess.

Umadevi: Our kiddo is so beautiful and intelligent that anyone would be ready to marry her. But what is the guaranty that he will love her in future and is not marrying her because she is rich and has a blue blood. I want someone who will keep her happy and love her because of who she is; not because she is a Malhotra!!!

Anika got happy as her DJ(grand mom) like always spoke in her favour and understood her. That's why she is her best friend cum loving DJ and she loves her the most in the world.

Anika: Yes dad, please give me a year to establish myself without a surname and if possible find love. If not I promise I will marry with whomever u want me to. She said playing the love card again to be on safe side.

Mr Malhotra: OK just one year, not even a day more than that.

With this, Mr Ravi Malhotra walked out of the mansion pissed on most important ladies of his life....His mother and his Princess.

But he knew that his daughter is very hard working smart clever and intelligent and can handle any type of situation. But he doesn't want his princess to get hurt in the process but was also proud of his only daughter. He had full trust on her that she will be successful in anything she wished to do. He thanked his wife looking up at the sky for making him a father of such a wonderful daughter.
