Chapter 31:

-Back to my POV-

The next morning I woke up confused, I didn’t know where I was but then I remembered. I got out of bed and dragged myself downstairs and found only Roxanne there. ‘’Good morning babe’’ she said as she saw me ‘’where are the others?’’ I asked her ‘’they needed to go buy some things’’ she said ‘’and you are not going?’’ I asked ‘’yeah I am, just needed to get a few things first’’ she said and started grabbing stuff, I sat down on the stool and looked at the table and saw a folded paper, I grabbed but before I could open it Roxanne grabbed it out of my hands ‘’I have to go’’ she said hurriedly and left out of the door, ‘’thanks for inviting me’’ I shouted sarcastically but she didn’t hear me because she was already on her way near the others. I had some tea and went upstairs to change into comfortable clothes and went out. I walked past some streets regaining the memories of when I used to live there, I turned into a particular street and knocked on a door. A familiar face opened the door and hugged me as soon as he realized who I am. ‘’Hey! It’s been long!’’ he said ‘’I know, I really missed you Kirsten!’’ I told him, we sat down on the sofa and I explained to him why I was back. ‘’I need a favor’’ I said to him ‘’tell me’’ he said ‘’I need you to come with me to find Mike’’ I told him

-Kirsten’s POV-

‘’I need you to come with me to find Mike’’ she told me ‘’are you sure?’’ I asked her ‘’yes, I need to end this now’’ she said convinced ‘’Ok then, when?’’ I asked her ‘’now!’’ she said ‘’what? Now?’’ I said ‘’yes, let’s go’’ she said grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the door.

We walked in the streets, when we arrived I looked at the place. ‘’It’s just like how I remember it’’ I told him, I knocked on the door holding my breath, a shaggy teenager came to open the door. ‘’Mike’’ I said, he just looked at me ‘’listen these threats need to stop, your scaring my mum when she shouldn’t be scared because she wasn’t the one who did what I did’’ I said ‘’you were supposed to read them not her’’ he said arrogantly ‘’well I didn’t because I escaped from this island, I went to live in another country because of you and your threats’’ I shouted ‘’it was your fault not mine’’ he said getting closer to me ‘’Yes I know I screwed things up, big time! But there wasn’t the need to sending me notes saying you will kill me’’ I said ‘’I have to take precautions if you go to the police’’ he said ‘’last time I didn’t but now maybe I do’’ I said turning to start walking but he grabbed me and slapped me across the face, I fell hard on the pavement when his hand collided with my cheek ‘’hey, don’t try to touch her again or you’ll regret it’’ Kirsten said helping me to get up ‘’then tell her to don’t go to the police or she’ll be sorry and not her only’’ he said closing the door behind him.
