Chapter 16- Tears

Stars pov
I stood in the middle of the room, dazed.
He never called me princess.
I found something to wear to bed and put my diary in a box for storing.
I yawned loudly and stretched my arms.
I climbed into bed and fell asleep almost instantly.
Marcos pov
I woke to the sound of stag screaming my name, "Marco!! Get up!!"
She ran in my room and jumped on my bed, sitting on my stomach.
"Morning Marco."
"I don't even need an alarm clock with you." I laughed while trying not to show my embarrassment.
I turned my alarm clock off and looked up at star.
We held a gaze for a while, before she turned away to look at the newborn bird.
He was sleeping Soundly at the bottom of the cage.
"Soooo, are we going to get up?" I poked stars shoulder.
She nodded and got off me and we went down to breakfast together.
"Hello love birds." My dad was watching tv on the sofa.
We looked at each other and looked at our hands, our fingers were intertwined.
Star pulled her hand away from mine and we carried on walking to the kitchen.
"Bye then." My dad shouted after us.
"Hi sweeties." My mum has already laid the table and was cleaning the counter top.
I sat down and star sat next to me.
~one hour later~
Marcos pov
"Marco! Are you ready!" Star was waiting by the door ready to head to school.
"Coming!" I shouted to her and rushed to the door.
We walked outside and took the long route to school, as we had extra time.
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
I took my phone out, it was a message from Jackie-
Hey, can we meet at the gates, we need to talk xoxo
I frowned.
Stars pov
Marco showed me his phone.
I felt something tick inside of me, "Just say no!" I spoke louder than I intended to.
"I don't know star, maybe she has something to say." Marco sighed.
I huffed, "Ok, but promise you won't be long, I don't want to be waiting." I put on a fake smile to hide my jealousy.
I saw Marco texting away on his phone.
We reached the gates where Jackie was leaning against the wall pecking at her nails.
"Hey Marco!" She walked over to us and grabbed his arm.
She pulled him away from me and they chatted for a while.
I watched as I started to get bored.
Jackie leaned into Marco and planted a kiss on his lips and Marco kissed back.
Jackie smirked at me.
"That's it, I've seen enough." I thought, trying to fight the tears I turned and walked away.
I went to the girls bathroom and found a stall, where I sat on the toilet seat and cried.
I don't know how long I was there.
Marcos pov
Me and Jackie are back together, I'm so happy!
But I kinda feel bad for star though.
I headed to first lesson, star was already gone.
I looked for star in the classroom and she wasn't there.
Maybe she's gone the long way to class?
It got further and further into the lesson and I started to worry.
