"Why do you have to be so hard to please?" He sighed.

"I'm not" unlocking the door, I pushed it inwards, "you could  track me down and find out where I lived. A phone number wouldn't be so hard now, would it?".

"I'll call you tomorrow then " Taehyung smiled and I couldn't help but grin back.

"I'm h-" I pressed my hands against my mouth the moment I realised that dad wasn't home and mom would probably be asleep. It was late and not the time to announce.

I walked to Haasa's room to check if she was awake. She was the type to stay up and wait for someone to get back home and wouldn't sleep until everyone's safe, tucked in their beds.

"Are you shy?" I heard Hyun Woo's voice and I stopped in my tracks. What was he doing here?

He was in her room. They were talking and it was almost midnight. I knew better than to ask why. Instead, I stood at the spot for the next few seconds.

"Why don't we go out sometime, grab lunch? dinner?" Hyun asked, his voice low but hopeful.

I smiled involuntarily, pressing my back against the nearest wall, eavesdropping on the couple.

"I can't" I heard Haasa whisper.

"Why not?" Hyun asked, disappointment clear in his voice.

"I just-"

"I'm sorry. I-I just assumed you were single and-" he stuttered.

"I am! I am single. The problem is, I don't have time. I have to look after Ji Yeon's mother and I also cook for them. They're paying me three times of what I asked for..I can't-- "

"Just ask her once! I'm sure she'll understand" Hyun tried to convince her, "She's a nice lady".

Nice lady? Thanks hyunnie.

"I'm not sure, but I'll try" Haasa answered making me facepalm.

Taking a few steps away from her room, I walked towards the kitchen for some water.

"Haasa!" I called out, loud enough for her to hear, only after making sure the door to mom's room was closed shut.

The sound of the couple rushing and ruffling filled the air until the said girl appeared in front of me.

"Yes?" her eyes were slightly wider and the way she avoided looking straight at me clearly showed how embarrassed she was.

"Did you bring someone home?" I questioned, pretending to be oblivious to what was happening.

"Uh-hyun Hyun Woo stayed back" She said quickly.

I suppressed my smile, "Why did he?".

She had her gaze fixed at her feet, her fingers twisted and turned in front of her tummy making me walk up to her.

"Its fine if he stays" I assured her before placing my hand on hers.

She looked up, her eyes searching for mine and I smiled, "but not without me knowing".

"I'm sorry" She apologized.

"Don't be" I gave her hands a squeeze, "Take a day off tomorrow!"

Shock was still the only thing plastered all over her face.

"Get some rest" I took a sip from the bottle, "Go on a date" I chuckled making her cheeks turn red.

"What about mom?" She was concerned.

"I'll take care of her " I grinned, "now go get some sleep".

I started towards my room before pausing, "Also.. Hyun is not sleeping in your room".

"Of course he isn't!"

"Just saying" I laughed.

Closing the door to my room behind me, I unbuttoned my jeans, peeling it off of my legs and freeing them. It felt like heaven.

Jumping into bed, I laid on my back, pulling the cold comforter over myself.

A buzz, soft but audible made me turn to my side to grab the phone I'd just placed on the side table.
