Tasha: I sat in my room now. I was putting the finishing touches on Steve's shield. I felt like a child coloring pictures to impress someone.

That's when the ship shook and a voice boomed. "AVENGERS," the voice of the Storyteller pulsed in my ears, "SET THE DATE. I WILL BE IN DC TOMORROW. I'M EXCITED TO SEE YOU THERE. I THINK MY STORY WILL FASINATE YOU!"

The world went quiet again. "Dang," I muttered to myself. Tony wouldn't want me to fight. Not that it made much of a difference. I would fight whether he told me to or not. I continued painting. Nothing I could do now.

Later I decided to walk the new shield to Steve. I knocked on his door. "Hey," he said smiling. His eyes had something else in them, that wasn't happiness. It was like he wasn't happy to see me.

"Hey," I said, "Uh, earlier you seemed to like the idea of the shield, so, uh, I made it for you." I handed it out to him.

He smiled, taking the shield, "Its extremely light."

"Its vibranium, like you used before. You've just gotten used to the stuff we normally use now," I said, "Carbon composites and such."

"Thank you," Steve said.

"So you heard earlier?" I asked.

Steve nodded. I bit my lip, "What's he going to do."

"I don't know," Steve said, "Prepare for the worst and you'll be fine for the best."

"You are extremely metaphorical," I muttered.

"Yeah," Steve said, "I get that a lot."

"Sure you do," I said.

"You're right I don't but I like to think I am," Steve laughed. I laughed too.

"Tomorrow's going to be nuts. What are we going to do?" I asked.

"We can't do anything until we get to DC. Then we'll make sure the President is out of the way, then we'll get help from the US Military. We'll get as many people out as possible, then we'll find this guy and lock him up with that collar on for the rest of his natural life, maybe a little later," Steve said. I smiled.

"You seem to have a plan," I said.

"I'm deceiving like that," Steve said. He looked down at his feet.

"We'll get him. And we'll be okay," I said.

"Be careful tomorrow. I know you don't see much for your life but helping people, but you can't help anyone if you're dead," Steve said.

"I'm not trying for death. I'm trying to just do what only the super human can do," I said. Steve smiled.

"I'll see you tomorrow," he said, "On the battle field."

"Yep," I said, "I'll be in armor."

"I've got a new shield," Steve said. I laughed. He closed the door and I walked back to my room to get some sleep.
