Panting. I keep running, tears escape my eyes.
"You think you can keep running forever Mare? I will find you! And you will be mine!"
I refuse to let Maven keep me as his pet once again. I am Mare Barrow, the little lightning girl, I could easily shock him with my lightning enough to fry him. I focus, looking at what is in front of me. My heart is pounding against my chest, my lungs are burning. Every breath, I breathe I am closer to finding the Kingdom of the Rift.
I start blacking out. The sides of my vision starts blurring. I fall.
