Chapter 6: Forest.

"If you don't want her to find out, you better find a way to face your fear. If not, she'll eventually find out"

"What are you talking about? I swear if you tell her-" he shook his head

"It's Fennekin you have to deal with" I gasped. That's right... now that I'm in Kalos, we'll meet eventually and she might expect me to get along with the Pokémon she wanted to give me "Don't worry, we might have time. Depending how long it'll take us to find her. Poor Fennekin couldn't give much information, saying that everything happened in a flash, and the fact that it wonders about you" the computer data Z put into my laptop revealed what Fennekin knew about the disappearance, which wasn't much. All there was was the confuse state and the curiosity of why I didn't like it.

"It's going to have to wonder forever. There's no way I'm telling what's wrong with me" he chuckled

"You admit that something's wrong with you" I rolled my eyes "Well, you're going to have to explain to Serena then. I won't say anything, but will it make you feel motivated if I threaten to tell the others about this secret?"

"You wouldn't dare" I death glared him. That casual smirk of his was getting on my nerves. What calmed me down and confused me was that he offered his hand again

"Are you willing to get rid of your fear?" I lifted my hand slowly towards me, unsure how to answer that question. He's offering his help, even if I refuse help from anyone. There's no way I can help myself on this situation. H-how can I just do this? "The first way to get rid of a fear is to first admit to it" I glared at this

"Seriously? You've got to be kidding me" he took his hand away

"I guess I'll tell the others then" I flinched "I don't care if you kill me for doing it. It's not going to change anything" he offered his hand again "Are you going to admit to it, or not?" I bit my lips, shakily and slowly reaching for his large hand

"I'm... not scared" he came a little closer to me before I noticed. I couldn't move from my spot, shaking again in fear

"What lead to this fear?"

"M-My childhood..."

"Childhood?" His voice felt so relaxing to hear. It kept coming closer to my face "S...k...a" I flinched and looked back at him. I couldn't hear him as well. He shook his head "What happened in your childhood that made you so afraid? Wasn't Serena there to comfort you?"

"S-She doesn't know... because I..." I shook my head, shaking off the trance he put me through "Y-You idiot! What did you do!?" I almost told him! He chuckled

"You were relaxed by my voice, weren't you?" My cheeks felt like they were on fire "I guess you can say it's one of my skills! In order to calm someone, you have to be calm yourself. You have to act how you want someone else to act. You have to be patient and calm" I looked into his eyes that were staring into mine. He was... alittle close. Not too close, but close enough to make me feel like he can hear the drum sound coming from my body "You might hate me, taking that you are someone to hate anything that won't obey you, but I'm not your enemy"

"You don't know me... Why would you want to help me? What my sister thinks of me is none of your business" he sighed

"That's where you're wrong. I can be concerned with anything I want. It's not much of concern I have towards you" his eyes adjusted in a way that got me feel all shy for some reason "Well... I just happen to be curious about you" my body felt like it wanted to fail on me. The mysterious drum was beating so fast as if I was running a marathon
