Chapter 9: He's being... Nice...?

Jesse's P.O.V

"What do you want?" I say as I shot a glare at him. I look at him, but... He isn't smirking...? Nor is he laughing at me, calling me names. I quickly put my Picture of my family in my pocket. 

"Are you... Crying...?" Aiden says as he walks up to me. 

"N-No! Wait, Why do you care? Your probably going to laugh at me, Aiden." I say as he gives me a soft look. What is he doing!? Isn't he going to bully me or something?! Laugh at me? Tease me? Call me something?! Aiden then walks up to me, And sits beside me. 

"No I wont.." He says. I am Confused as you are probably. He then...

Gives me a hug. 

I act quickly and get up. 

"I don't know if This is a joke, Aiden, But don't you even go near me. Okay, Blade?" I say. Aiden looked shocked. I only call people by their last names if I am mad, And serious. "Don't come Near me and my friends, okay? I don't know if this is a joke, or you're asking for forgiveness, But don't think I'm Being your friend. After you bullying me for like, 3 years. So Don't even try." 

Aiden gulps as I leave with a grin. 

'I defended myself from him...' 

Well, I'm proud of myself now. I just take a little walk and then get home. 

"Hey, Jesse." Olivia says as  see her in the kitchen. We eat burgers and then chill then go to sleep. I jump into bed as Olivia just gets in her bed normally. I put my white sheets over me. 

Its 2:48 A.M And I cant sleep. I've read books, Had warm milk, Listen to slow music, And still can't fall asleep. I then go start playing a game called 'Dancing Line'. I'm still stuck on the Plains level, which is annoying. My phone then beeps. 

'Why is Lukas... Texting me at nearly 3 in the morning...?' 

I check it out. 

Lukas Porter: Hey. 

Jesse Ryder: Why are you texting me at 3 in the morning? 

Lukas Porter: Because I can't sleep? 

Jesse Ryder: Umm, Okay? Then what gives your the right to text me at this hour? 

Lukas Porter: Did I wake you up? 

Jesse Ryder: Nope. 

Lukas Porter: Then Why are you annoyed? 

Jesse Ryder: My Ringer was on and my phone beeped loudly and Olivia nearly woke up. 

Lukas Porter: Well, that's Great. 

Jesse Ryder: Why did I give you my phone number again? 

Lukas Porter: Because You did...? 

Jesse Ryder: Oh yeah. 

Lukas Porter: Why did I want to text you? 

Jesse Ryder: Because I'm Awesome. And you have no friends on your friends list. 

Lukas Porter: I texted Petra a few minutes ago. She says 'Shes too awesome for me'. She also said she had to go to play video games. 

Jesse Ryder: Typical Petra. 

Lukas Porter: Why Am I your friend?

Jesse Ryder: ARE YOU SAYING YOU DON'T WANT TO BE MY FRIWEND!? 

Lukas Porter: Did you just Spell 'Friwend'? Are you a child? 

Jesse Ryder: At heart, Luke, At Heart. 

Lukas Porter: Don't call me Luke. I still have your secret hidden. 

Jesse Ryder: Okay, Good. 

All Night, I texted Lukas and we talked. We talked about the most random things. At 4 A.M, I Felt sleepy, so I texted Lukas goodnight and went to bed. 

The next morning...

I Groan as I wake up. I open my green eyes and check my phone for the time. 

"3:34... Too early for me..." I say as I roll out of bed. I went to bed at like, 4, so no duh I'm so sleepy. I get up and walk into the kitchen. I see Olivia sitting on the couch, reading a redstone book Mrs. Elleguaad told us to read. Redstone is hard for me, but for Olivia, shes like the star student in redstone class. I also have to research about Notch, The Admin, And herobrine. Ugh, Just thinking that name makes me want to gag. 

"Good afternoon, Jess. What time did you go to bed again?" Olivia says as She keeps her eyes on her book. 

"Uhh... 4 A.M?" I say. 

"You should really go to bed at 10, Jesse." 

"As long as I'm wide awake, and get sleep I'm fine! Please, When I was young, Me and Petra stayed up all night, watching horror movies, and playing video games, And searching random videos like Frogs screaming." Olivia does a face palm as I smile. "Be right back, Liv. I'm going to go change." 

And with that, I spin back into our room and change into my blue overalls and red and white short sleeved t-shirt. When I'm finished changing, I go to the living room. Olivia was still readinf her book as I smile. 

'Nerd..'
