Tommy

Cory just shredded on a green team member, Ashlie got green teams bed, Nick was a distraction (A/N IM A DISTRACTION!) for awhile, Uni was defending the bed, Jon was making sure we were never short on recourses, but what about me? The first time I ever tried to help, it costs both mine and Nick's life. Like I said before, Im just one screw up after the other. Tears pricked the corners of my eyes and I sighed, leaning against the wall. I watched Uni walk around the eggs protection, most likely checking for holes. At least he's good at his job.

He climbed back up and sat on the egg, then looked at me. I looked away and pretended to be looking out the window. "Are you alright, Tommy?" He asked. Oh look. First person to acknowledge my existence if it wasn't to scream at me for something I did wrong. I sighed "Yeah, everything's fine....." and slid down the wall. My vision got blurry and I felt my eyes sting with tears. There was no way I could wipe my eyes without it being very obvious that I was wiping my eyes, so I let the tears fall.

Though, Uni knew I was crying. Before I knew it, he was sitting next to me. I avoided eye contact with him, but I can feel his stare. His eyes were burning a hole through me. Suddenly, his arms wrapped around me and I was pulled into a tight hug. I couldn't help but hug back, letting it noticeable I was crying. "Tell me what's wrong, friend," he said. I really didn't want to tell him, because it was embarrassing, but the hug and his soft, British voice convinced me that he wouldn't laugh if I told him.

"I.....I can't do anything right, Uni...." I said, blush filling my face. I sounded like such an attention seeker when I say that out loud. Uni tightened the hug. "Thomas, Im sure there's something you can do. What are you good at?" I thought for awhile. "Im a comedian. I love making people laugh," I admitted with a smile. Uni broke the hug and looked me straight in the eyes. "Then do that." He said sternly. I was confused. "How would making people laugh have any outcome on the team and winning?" I asked, genuinely confused. It wouldn't.

"It may not have a physical outcome, Tom, but it sure will have an emotional outcome. If you can ease the team, we'll be less tense and be able to fight better. We'll be in a happy mood and be able to communicate better. We'll be able to actually work as a team. If anything, you being a comedian and keeping us in a positive mood will be way bigger than egg sitting or making sure we have supplies. It'll be a game changer. Heck, it might even be the most important job amongst all of us, Thomas!" He said, confidently.

I never thought of it that way. I smiled and stood up. Well, team. Prepare for jokes so bad they'll make you laugh. Because I am Thomas 'Shred-O-Matic' Gargon, AND IM FULL OF THEM.
