She had the smarts, which she now considered an advantage rather than a burned.
"She was an artist, an artist who needed to be seen."
She had the creativity, and even though she could never see it happen, her art blossomed .
"You always have me, okay? Always."
He had the chance to escape. She was his escape.
"Look, Leo. I don't know what's going on here, but if you need a place to crash for awhile, by all means, let it be here."
He had the opportunity to go home, but he liked living with his new family a lot more.
"She loved you."
He had his mother, and he would always have Hazel.
"I think is time we both start over."
She had the tough girl image, and a newly mended heart.
"I love you, Piper McLean."
He had the heart, and she was the one who set it free.
"He is the most passionate, most devoted intern in that goddamn hospital!"
He had something. Something special.
