Thirty-Eight

Remus and. Sirius has led them to the library for some peace and quiet
"Okay so. We've got to get a few things straight." Draco whispered to Harry as Remus started roaming the shelves

"I'll just browse a bit while you two talk." Sirius said as he got up and walked to the nearest shelf

"Okay what's up?" Harry asked facing Draco.
Draco's eyes were full of confusion
"So we found out your the alpha here. Wha does that mean?"

"I'm not sure. We're gonna have to read up on it to understand it fully I think." Harry told him.

"Do you think that kind of thing would be in the restricted area?" Draco asked

"I don't know. We're gonna have to look around and find out. Or we can ask Sirius and Remus." Harry said

"I don't think I'd be comfortable with that."

"Yeah me either. We can start looking tomorrow afternoon if you like." Harry offered

"That would be good. I want your help with something else." Draco sighed

"What is it?" Harry leaned forward trying to get a read on his expression.

"My father wrote a letter. He um. He wants me dead Harry. Says I can't soil the family name this way." Draco sighed and put his head in his hands

Harry felt the anger rising up inside him again.
"He will not lay a hand on you. Ever."

"Harry you don't understand he has his ways." Draco said

"What's going on?" Sirius asked

"Lucius." Harry growled

"What's he done?" Sirius's tone went ominous

"Here." Draco pulled the letter out of his pocket and held it out to Sirius.

Sirius took the letter and read it over carefully

"I have to go see Dumbledore. You don't mind me telling him right?" Sirius asked

"Not at all. Just please don't tell Mother." Draco sighed

"That I can do." Sirius gave a small nod and started towards the door.

"You know things are going to get worse before they get better." Harry said

"I know. I just don't want Mum to know what he's threatening."
