No one ever thinks about the cabby
It's just the back of a skull,
A body behind a wheel.
Everytime I think I'm the one
In charge you find a way
To remind me that you're the one
Choosing the destinations.
You expect me to drive you around
Whenever you're too weak
To use your steady legs,
And stumbling memory.
Once again you forgot
That I know all the maps by heart
Even the one of your schemes.
When you drag me everywhere
Your dreams want, remember I can
Take you where your nightmares reside.
So next time, when you blame me
For behind lost or far behind
Just try and put yourself in my shoes
For once.
