You ended it.
You cut me loose even though you knew I didn't mind being trapped in your arms.
You got rid of me as if I was an old empty frame taking dust in one of the dark corners of your heart.
You used to think with your heart but then the only thing guiding you were your hands.
You didn't bother stretching them far enough to reach me. And when she came in, wearing nothing but lust and empty promises you let her force her way into your life.
You let her fingers make their way to your face, her hands turn your head away from me.Nonetheless you two weren't the only ones to blame.
I let myself sink in self-loathing when I could have swam past you, pretending you weren't the reason why I was struggling to breathe.
