Like a destructive Tom Thumb
You leave smoke and nothingness behind you.
That symphony of silence you trail everywhere you go
Is making my ears bleed, causing me to turn deaf.
I let out an inaudible gasp
As I notice how loud my eyelids sound
When they close and open
Again and again and again.
The path you made up for me to follow
Is outlined by all the wounds you caused.
My only way to recovery is to admit
How much I need you.
Because at the end of the day
Only you can save me from the hatred
Everyone but you kept from
Cutting my veins wide open on its wake.
