Chin up.
And L shape
Keep your head like this at all times
Don't you dare lower your horn
Your instrument
You're here for a reason
To get better
So get better
Back straight
Posture
Perfection
And when you think you've done it in perfection
You haven't seen DCI
Get better
Your air capacity will expand over the years
sir, I don't think I can hold out much longer
You can.
what?
I can barely.
Shut it
Don't quit
The moment you do you will never regain strength
come on
Open your eyes
These people around you
Sweat on their face
Hearts pounding
Breath wavering
We all know your pain
We all have been there
We know what it's like
You're not alone
Memorize the music beforehand so you can worry about each step
That's what I did.
If you can get the marching down
Then you can focus on the music
Don't listen across
The field creates distance
You have to know when you come in
Was it really hard for you as a freshman?
I was teh freshman of all freshman kid.
Ask anyone
I caused a lot of frustration
If anyone got the worst of it
Here at this school
Four years ago
It was me.
I wasn't alone
People made fun of me for it
But I love marching
And you'll grow to love it to.
Now let's review.
Yes, sir!
"Feet -- together,
Stomach -- in,
Chest -- out,
Head -- up,
Eyes -- with pride,
Eyes -- with pride,
Eyes -- with pride."
Did you respond with all confidents?
"Sir, yes, sir!"
Do you know what I expect from you?
"I expect more, sir!"
Good answer.
When I walk that stage will you know what to do the following year?
"You're not throwing me to the wolves yet, Sir."
No. A smile spreads across my lips. No I'm not.
Good luck.
Conclusion: It says to write about my favorite sport. I did a conversation between me and a freshman during band camp.
