For America
It is a patriotic month
To an extent
America’s birthday!
Apparently America is a Cancer in the zodiacs
Emotional and expressive
Or the opposite
America
The land of the ‘free’
She cries
And she weeps
For what she has gone through up to this point
The fire works
The blaze in the night
America
On her birthday
They play the cannons
Fort those who fought
Her flag waves in the night
And in the day still it be high
America’s month
