Drowning in panic
Many oceans
Across the seas we travel
Attempt to become
One with another
Yet distance from those who seek
Because we drown in our own waters
The rushing of our thoughts carries us
And can even drown us if we’re not careful
Distance because they know the truth
Distance to keep close
Seek for a better destination
A destination for us both.
