P: I Choose Reality

I’m afraid of a fantasy actually.

Moreover I wish I didn’t dream

This is only to an extent however

My dreams are vivid

Vivid nightmares

I dream of nothing that ‘I wish’

I dream of futuristic entities

What would seem as déjà vu

I never wished

But I can see

How you felt

A dream

Never ending perfection

It would be perfect for a bit

But then the perfection would be infectious

It would cling to a soul

A never ending nightmare

Of perfection

Never changing one bit

I wrote this in response to Reality of Fantasy? I like your poem. I voted. I needed inspiration and I saw the discussion so might as well talk to you for a moment. I’ll be going onto your next poem now. You don’t have to respond to this.
