"You're just a lonely little nobody that needs to learn to stay out of my way." Aline says angrily, glaring down at me while her posse watch with matching smirks. "When are you going to realise, nerd, that I can destroy you?"
"Maybe you should try destroying someone your own size, Aline." A voice says from behind me, causing all heads to turn in that direction.
Ariel Viper is approaching us, her high heeled boots making plenty of noise as she stares Aline down.
Why is she stepping in for me? I've never even spoken two words to her. Like Aline said, I'm a nobody. I have no friends. So why is Ariel stepping in for me when I don't owe her anything?
This can only lead to something much worse.
