"This jacket is horrible! I don't know how you can sell such crap like this. Its itchy, its an ugly color and when I put it in the washing machine you know what it did? It shrunk!" he yelled at me, arms flailing all around. "I want a full refund for this disgusting piece of fabric that you guys think you can call a jacket!"
"I..I..I'm sorry sir but we cannot refund or exchange this article of clothing because you've already worn and washed it." I informed him as calmly as I could especially considering the only thing I wanted to do with that jacket was to stuff it in his mouth.
"Well then I want to speak to your manager. Or better yet get me a man, at least he can handle this situation better than you females."
That was about all I could take from this overbearing pompous ass who dared to speak to me in that manner and then insult me by calling me incompetent because of my gender! I was about to transfer what I was feeling onto this blonde giant until Ally unfortunately decided to butt in and throw me completely off guard. This girl had really bad timing.
"Booze, just what do you think your doing attacking the poor girl. Is that any way to treat people you don't know. And why do you have your grandmother's jacket in your hands." I looked towards 'Booze' to see that he had the biggest grin on his face. And that was when I realized that it was all a joke and I was the poor fool who was being picked on.
"Sorry about all that. Its just that I've been hearing so much about you from this dweeb here that I couldn't help but want to make a lasting first impression." He said with a wink.
"Oh and you wanted to make that lasting first impression by going all ballistic on the girl. I'm surprised she hasn't run away or better yet socked you one in the face because lord knows you deserve it."
"Oh shut up Ally. All your chatter is giving me a serious headache. Don't you ever just give that big mouth of yours a rest."
"Yeah, you sure would like that huh? I'm surprised you even get headaches considering there's nothing in that big head of yours but-"
"Well, well if it isn't the two lovebirds." I looked behind me to see Rafe coming towards us with a big smile on his face. Apparently this was normal for him, these two fighting at each others throats; I'm surprised they haven't ripped each others heads off yet.
"Rafe my man, how you been?" while Rafe and Booz did the whole handshake guy thing, I could see Ally rolling her eyes at the both of them. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle resulting in all eyes turned towards me.
"Uhh, so I'm guessing you all know each other." Wow. Good job Isadora. State the obvious, well done.
"Yeah we used to go to school together, I used to save this guys ass all the time." grinned Rafe while turning towards Booze to see his reaction.
"Hey man that's so not true I was always the one sneaking you out of detention, as I remember it. And then this little thing always wanted to tag along whenever we ditched. Her dad used to raise hell with us." Booze said looking at me while pointing towards Ally at the same time.
"Ha-ha, yeah especially since she was only what...? 12 at the time." Laughed Rafe as he ruffled Ally's hair.
"Actually I was fourteen and you guys never seemed to mind, especially since I was the one who used to get you the passes to ditch class." Ally retorted to the both of them while carefully running her hands through her hair to smooth it out once again. All of a sudden, Liz popped out of nowhere telling us all to get back to work or to find another job. She then walked off to help a customer, but not before she scolded Booze while giving him a death glare. I hid my laugh as I saw Booze's face quickly turn from being amused to frightened in the span of two seconds.
