soooooo guys this book hit 1k reads and i am freaking out. i never thought this book would make it passed 300 reads when i first started writing. this is amazing, and i can't wait to see how far this takes me. it's really motivating me to write more and maybe start some new books. i have a non fanfic book idea but i'm not sure how many people would read it. anyways thank you to all you readers out there, i hope you're enjoying this book. and comment down famous people you want me to make a fanfic about. i'll do a lot unless i've never heard of them lol. okay again thank you ❤️ now you can enjoy this chapter :))

josh's pov

i woke up to my phone buzzing and it's blue screen light illuminating my dark room. it kept going off, yet i knew someone wasn't calling me because it would have rang instead.

i rub the tiredness from my eyes and unlock my phone. i check the time, it was only 6:30 am. who would be spamming me this early?

it's ava.

ava: hey josh
ava: josh something's happened
ava: please answer
ava: josh
ava: it's willow
ava: she's been emitted to the hospital
ava: please call me as soon as you see this

willow. oh fuck what happened to her? why would she be in the hospital, she was fine at home. her leukemia...

i quickly press the call button next to ava's name on my phone. it rings a few times, then goes to voicemail. okay that's weird, she said to call.

i call again, this time she picked up after the third ring. "ava, is everything alright?!" i ask as soon as she answers.

"no.." her voice cracks "willow.. she's.."

"she's what ava. talk to me."

"willow got an infection and started choking up blood. she was emitted to the emergency ward and has to stay at the hospital for a while"

"ava what hospital?" i ask frantically.

"why?" she asks. i can picture her raising her eyebrows at the thought. "ava tell me"

"cincinnati children's hospital" she mutters. this is rough on her.

"i'm on my way, bye ava" i quickly say hanging up. i rise from my bed, putting on my jeans and a plain white tee. i threw on my black and blue vans to go with it.

i run across the hall to tyler's room, we decided to stay together while we were home in columbus. i knock and when he didn't answer i went in. i shook him lightly hoping not to make him mad.

he rolled over and slightly opened his eyes "josh? what time is it?"

"6:47 am. ava's sister, willow, is at the hospital. i'm gonna drive to cincinnati. just wanted to let you know bud" i half smiled.

"can i come?" tyler whispered, still half asleep. "i wanna be there for her too, plus i've been dying to meet her"

"um i guess ty ty. hurry and get dressed, i wanna leave like now" he looks at my already ready self and immediately gets up, he already has some shorts on so he throws on a shirt and puts on his shoes. "ready" he says.

i pull him in for a hug "i love you ty"

"love you too josh. no let's get going, you need to go save your princess like the real knight in shining armor you are" he jokes.

i chuckle "okay. let's go!"

about two hours later we were pulling into the hospitals parking lot. i tried to get closer to the emergency room entrance rather than the main entrance to make getting to willow and ava easier.

we signed in at the desk and i called ava. it rang a few times and she picked up. "ava tyler and i are here" i say waving to a few people who recognized us.

"okay i'll be right down to take you up to willows room" she says hanging up. i sigh. okay ty, she'll be down shortly.

once ava saw us, she engulfed us both into a hug, not caring she never met tyler before or that she had always looked up to him as a fan of the band. she had tears in her eyes and a cloud of pain and hurt was hovering over her. 

as we started to pull away from the group hug, i kissed her forehead. "everything will be alright. i promise"

sooooooooo it's been forever since an update but i've been moving into my new house, so sorry for the delay. hope you enjoy this chapter as much as i do. (which is a lot) i'll keep this short since i had a long one at the beginning.
