Chapter 15

I couldn't take it any longer. My life consisted of BEN, and food. I needed something more, my two main loves just weren't enough.

"BEN! I'm going out, okay? I'll be back soon, 'kay?" I said, and BEN walked towards me. He took my hand, and pressed something small, round, and metal into my hand.

I looked at it, and smiled. It was an old coin, and it was dented and rusty.

"Why?" I asked.

"Just so you can stay safe. If EJ even comes near you..." he trailed off, and I grinned.

"He won't. You guys never go out in the day."

I kissed BEN softly and left stuffing the coin into the back pocket of my jeans.

I walked down the street, bopping my head along to my blaring music.

"Excuse me miss, but can you help me?" I hears a soft voice say.

I whirled around and blushed as I saw the incredibly hot guy standing in front of me.

He had black hair, swept across his right eye. His left eye was a dark brown, and it sparkled in the dusky air. His nose was slightly turned up, and he had full lips that were slightly chapped, but it added to his beauty.

I stared at him and he looked confused.

"Um, excuse me?" he asked again, and I blushed when I hears his voice properly. It was somewhat familiar, but I couldn't place it.

"Oh, yeah sure. What do you want me to do for you?"

"Come with me."

He set off and I followed him obediently, feeling a blush creeping up my neck and into my cheeks. The boy walked into an alley and I looked around, confused.

"What are we-"

He cut me off by pushing me against a nearby wall.

"I'm sorry, Lucy... No, I'm not, actually."

He smiled and my heart suddenly skipped a beat. The incredibly hot boy was Jeff! I was positive that I was now tomato red, and Jeff smirked at me.

I suddenly felt a burning sensation in my butt. I remember I had shoved the coin that BEN had given me there, and I pulled it out, keeping my hand behind my back.

The coin was warm against the skin of my palm, and I waited for it to get warmer. After a couple of seconds, my palm was burning.

"Jeff... Stop it. Please," I pleaded.

Jeff sighed. Suddenly, his face was a few inches away from mine. "No, Lucy. I can't."

And then his lips were on mine, kissing me roughly. I kissed him back softly for a few seconds, before a part of my brain screamed at me, YOU'RE WITH BEN! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!

I pushed Jeff back, and he looked at me. I blushed and dropped the coin to the floor.

"I'm sorry Jeff... I just..." I said and Jeff looked at the floor.

"Lucy... I just... I've liked you for a long time, and I don't think BEN deserves you. And when Eyeless Jack said I could track you down, I couldn't help myself. I had to find you."

I smiled and brushed his bangs out of his eyes. "Kiss me again."

Jeff blinked, surprised. I rolled my eyes, and pulled him down towards me. Our lips met and I felt electricity sizzle through me.

"Lucy!?"

I broke away from Jeff to see BEN standing there, frozen in shock.
