There is always the possibility of someone getting hurt. In fact, people always get hurt. Whether it's from an injury, or heartbreak, people get hurt. It's hard to think that it's human nature to love getting hurt. We love it and we can't help it. Getting hurt gives us a purpose of living.
Then there is the possibility of finding that one person who doesn't hurt you. Would you take that chance? Would you let someone in, even if they have the power to break you down? Well, you don't have my answer yet. After years of learning my lesson, I think that answer is: no.
It should be no. Years of heartbreak. And I'm sixteen. I know, it's stupid. Someone should probably hit me over the head with a bat. Believe me, it wouldn't hurt after everything I've been through.
It will all make sense when I tell you, but that doesn't sound very fun right now. We'll wait.
For now, though. Let's proceed with the story.
