31: Pool party

You hyped for Halloween? I asked Dolan. We're both on the way to the pool. Yup, are you? He asks back. We're stuck in traffic. Have you gum on you? He asks. I go into my bag and bring out a whole unopened tub. He opens it and takes out two pieces. I take one and we chew. People walk on the pavement. The traffic moves forward and it clears up. We get to the pool in another ten minutes. Five dollars per person and ten dollars per hour but for two hours it's nine dollars. How long are you staying for? Asks the receptionist. Me and Dolan pay for the two hours. I change in the females. We both come out at the same times. He has such nice abs. I'd marry him if he wasn't getting married to Goopie but I'm happy for them as are the fans. Hey Shima, watch this he yells. I laugh to myself and turn around. He does a fail cannonball into the water. I laugh. Watch me I yell and I do a perfect jump in. I resurface. Dolan swims over. No fair, how can you do it so good? He complains. I laugh. He splashes water into my face. Right I say and I dunk him. He struggles under the water. He resurfaces. Why did you do that for? And he gets a soft sinker from the steps and throws it at me. Weak he laughs and shouts. He swims over. I pretend to drown. Shima, are you alright? He asks. I sink to the bottom. He swims under and takes a hold of my wrist. I jump and he does too at the same time. I push him back in half way through the jump. Now who's weak I laugh. The other swimmers swim away from us. Except two. They swim up. Hey Shima says Chloe. Hey, and you are? I reply, confused. Sals friend, Chloe, did she tell you about me? She asks back. I shake my head. Good day mate says her friend, swimming up. Hi, I'm Shima and you're Chloe's boyfriend right? I smile back. Yup, I'm Felix he says back. Chloe has gone up to the other side of the pool. Chloe swims down to the bottom and finds a ball. She throws it at Felix's head. Gotta go and he swims over to her. Shima, be careful in the evening because of the clowns says Dolan. Which clowns? Jacksonville Floridas ones or you? I ask. Both. And he starts swimming laps. I see Andi running past outside. She's running, I'm shocked. Usually her routine is shower, dress, eat, animate, pizza and then Netflix. Boo hands grab on my shoulders and push me down. I resurface and Dolan is laughing his ass off. Right you- a whistle goes. It's the lifeguards. Please no messing he asks. I nod. The rest of the hour passes and pretty soon so does the second one. Me and Dolan get out and go to the changing rooms. I dress quickly and wait for Dolan. He comes out. We go out the door. I look around. A clown is there, staring at me. I jump back. Hey, nothing will happen while you're with me says Dolan and we continue walking. We walk to the car and we drive back home. I hear music going down in the relaxing room. I go in. Sal and a bunch of kids are there. Im teaching, wanna join? She yells over the music. I shake my head and go up to my flat that I share with Melissa. She's vlogging. Like usual. So anyway, Sal, the new girl, is a complete whore who has plans to leave Tolop as soon as the kids are born. I stare. She stops me. I run forward and grab her phone. Too late. It's on her story.
