Chapter 18

*Alex P.O.V*

"Shawn can.....you please...take me home?"I say between breaths.

"what's wrong?"asked Carrie while she got up from the table.and hugged me.

I just cried. Hayes hurt me. I know what he did doesn't seem bad but he's blaming me because of my old boyfriend! Carrie knew I could tell.

"Shawn Pleeeaaaseee? Before he gets here." I repeat.

"sure. I'll be back soon babe." He said standing up from the table and giving a kiss to Carrie on the cheek. I can't even watch. It just reminds me of friken Hayes!

I say Bye to Carrie and Shawn and I walk towards the black dodge charger.

"what happened?" He asked sweetly. "you don't have to tell me if you don't want to..."I looked at him and smiled.

"well after you guys left he got mad at Sam and then when we[Hayes and Alex] left I tried to hold his hand again and he got mad at me for something Sam did! After everything that has happened to me in the last couple mouths has made me more sensitive I guess you can say." I say sniffling.

"Oohh I'm sorry Alex." He said patting my thigh. He's a really good friend and Carrie and him are in a good relationship. I wish it was like that with Hayes and I, but nah...

"here we are." Shawn says pulling up to my big house. There were no cars so I'm guessing the boys went out somewhere. Good.

"thanks Shawn." I say giving him a friendly hug. "I'll see you and Carrie later." I add getting out of the car.

"Bye" he replied and headed back out again.

I unlock the front door and go to my room. I change into what I had on earlier because I was to lazy. I looked at the time and it was 6:55.

I decide to go to the park one block away from my house. It like the neighborhood park. I walk over and sit on the swings and put on my headphones on. First song that plays is Distance by Jack and Jack. My feels right now. I get a text from Carrie.

Heyy bae! Were on our way back home.

Ok. I'm at the park. Don't tell Hayes though Pleeeaaaseee? I don't really wanna see him right now.

My lips are sealed. I'll see you soon.

Ok Byee.

I lock my phone and was swinging there for a little. I just watched the sun and the sky changing colors. Everything for right now, at this moment, was prefect.

*Carries P.O.V*

I decide to text Alex while we head towards the car.

Heyy bae! Were on our way back home.

Ok. I'm at the park. Don't tell Hayes though Pleeeaaaseee? I don't really wanna see him right now.

My lips are sealed. I'll see you soon.

Ok Byee.

I lock my phone and look at my hand that was intertwined with Shawns.

I unlock the front door and walk into the bathroom. I here someone following behind me.

Hayes.

I go into the bathroom but press my eat against the wooden door. He knocked on her bedroom door and said:" heyy Alex can we talk?"

I really wanna tell him where she is. He asked again. Then he knocked on the bathroom door.

"heyy Carrie you know where Alex is?" He asked..sobbing? I open the door and notice his eyes were bloodshot. Uugh Carrie you're gonna regret this. I hug him and say yes.

"you do? Where is she?" He asked still letting out a few years. man this boy really loves her. Poor Hayes. I tell him where but regretting it.

"Hayes wait!" I yell while running downstairs to catch Hayes but he had already closed the door.

"Where is he going?" Asked Shawn walking towards me.

"Alex.." I sighed.

Just please don't make her mad at me...
