Crybaby Bridge is a nickname given to some bridges in the United States. The name often reflects an urban legend(that I'm going to tell you)that the sound of a baby can be, or has been, heard from the bridge. Many are also accompanied by an urban legend relating to a baby or young child/children.
According to the urban legend a couple was driving home from church with their baby,arguing about something.The rain was falling and torrents,and they soon found themselves having to drive over a flooded bridge.As they started to cross,the water was deeper than they first thought.So they got stuck and decided to get out of the car to find help.The woman stayed behind but left the car for reasons.While her back was turned to the car,she heard a baby crying out loudly.She returned to the vehicle and only to find that her baby had been carried away from the water.
If you go to this bridge at night,you can hear the baby crying.
