Professor Byun (Chanbaek/Baekyeol)

First Encounter

With a freshly ironed white shirt and a pair of jeans with a backpack in hand; Baekhyun strolled inside the campus carrying a stack of papers in hand.

He should've worn a suit as he scanned some teachers-coffee clasped between their hands and briefcases on the other dressed with suits or pencil skirts. He should've gotten a briefcase but the previous school he worked at was so casual and now he looked unprepared and out of place.

Before he reached the building, a swarm of students squished past him as they ran towards a sleek black car located outside. The chaos caused Baekhyun's papers to fall as foot imprints smeared on top the pristine white pages.

Sighing he gathered the papers up before he felt another pair of hands gather some papers up. He looked up to see a boy with large eyes and plumb lips reminding him of a penguin.

"Here you go. Be careful next time." The student answered as he pushed his round glasses higher up his face.

"Thank you um Kyungsoo." Baekhyun replied as he read the student's name tag.

"Anytime. See you around and if you ever need a friend I'm in the library." Came the response as Kyungsoo stood up and walked towards his first class.

"Uh ok." Baekhyun spoke to himself as he got up and entered the building as screams and squeals were heard outside.

"Ok turn right and go straight." Baekhyun nodded as he read the directions of his classroom that Taeyeon sent him last night.

After asking some students, Baekhyun finally found the classroom and stepped in as the class' talking seized to whispers as everyone stared at the new person in front of the room.

Some girls blushed as Baekhyun stared at them or continued to apply on more makeup.

"Hello I'm Byun Baekhyun but you guys will call me Mr. Byun." He began as the class finally quieted down and stared at him.

"And I'm going to be your new teacher." Baekhyun finished as the class had mixed reactions some confused and some snickering.

"You don't look much like a teacher." A student commented as they stared at his casual attire.

"And you don't look much like a student. Please put away your phone and put your legs off the desk." Baekhyun retorted as he dropped his backpack behind his desk before standing in the middle again.

The student shut his mouth but glared at the teacher already plotting how to get rid of him. He'll probably need the help of Chanyeol though.

"Ok cla-" Baekhyun began when the door slammed open with a bang and he stared as a tall student blowing on gum stepped inside the classroom not noticing the new teacher staring at him as he strolled in like he owned the place.

"Um this student who just entered-you're late and please don't eat gum in classroom it's distracting to others who want to learn." Baekhyun stated as he stepped in front of the tall student with big ears sticking out a bit and tie loosely hung around his uniform.

The taller only chewed more and blew a bubble before popping it in front of the smaller-causing Baekhyun to jolt a bit from the sound.

"You-Park Chanyeol if you don't stop, I'll give you detention." Baekhyun warned as he read the other's name tag which was crooked also and actually everything was messy with this student.

Loose tie, obnoxiously loud chewing of bubblegum, uniform not fully buttoned, ruffled hair, and the list goes on-basically a student who does not care about his grades.

"And who are you to give me detention?" The taller finally spoke as he bored holes on the short midget in front of him.

"I'm the new teacher but anyways get to your seat so I don't lose anymore instructional time." Baekhyun answered as he turned around and pulled a stack of paper out; the ones he dropped before. Chanyeol just strolled towards a window seat as someone scrambled away to let the taller sit.

"I apologize class that the papers are um weird but I got into a sort of accident before coming here." Baekhyun said as he passed out the papers with footprints covering each of them.

"These are my grading policies and I wish that everyone try their best this school year." Baekhyun finished as he gave a smile watching as the students peered at that paper a bit-well all except Park Chanyeol who crumbled up the paper and shot it in a trash bin in the front of the class.

Everyone cheered but stopped when their new teacher glared at the troublemaker. They were already placing bets that Byun Baekhyun wouldn't survive a week here if he were to do something that angered the Park Chanyeol.

Taking slow breaths, Baekhyun calmed himself down as he told Chanyeol to stay after class and turned around before he began the first lesson of the day that he had planned which was a simple get to know you.

After each student filled it up, they had free time and when the bell rung everyone scrambled to get lunch and also to avoid witnessing their new teacher's fate.

"Ok Mr. Park I need to have a small chat with you." Baekhyun stated as he pulled out two pieces of paper before pulling out a seat and sitting across from him.

The taller only had his eyes closed with earbuds plugged in so Baekhyun stood up and pulled one off. Chanyeol opened his eyes and stared at the new teacher before giving him a raised eyebrow as if questioning his actions that he will regret.

Sighing, Baekhyun gave a small smile before starting again. "Hello I'm Mr. Byun. You missed my introduction before since you were late but you must have had trouble right? Maybe traffic or something. And don't chew gum in class because it will distract other students. Here's a paper for you to fill out a simple get to know you so I can familiarize myself with you guys. Next time don't throw paper away, ok?" Baekhyun concluded as he looked at his student.

"You done?" Chanyeol asked as he cracked his hands emitting that popping sound.

"Oh and next time wake up earlier." Baekhyun added.

"What?" Chanyeol asked confused.

"Your outfit is not dressed properly. Next time wake up earlier so you won't look like you rushed out of bed." Baekhyun said.

"Excuse me? This is how I like to dre-" Chanyeol began to argue because of this incredulous teacher in front of him judging about his appearance when he spent his time trying to get this look. But he didn't get to finish as his teacher leaned over and tightened his tie up.

"There so much better. Go on I don't want to hold you up for the whole lunch period." Baekhyun answered as he ruffled the taller's hair a bit before turning around.

But Park Chanyeol didn't like this the whole oblivious new teacher interrupting him and confusing him for a moment of who the boss was here.

"Yah Byun." Chanyeol shouted as Baekhyun turned to feel a blob of paper ball hit him in the face.
