I think it's the saddest thing,
When you find something you'd read before.
And while the first time you read it,
It didn't make sense to you.
But now, after everything has come crashing down,
Those same words ring painfully in your ears.
After all, when we give advice, we are only talking to our past selves.

I'm pretty excited to let you know that I finally put up my new story! It's called "The Moth", filled with late night conversations between a girl and a guy about love and life, and ultimately, loss. It's chapters are generally short ans I tried to keep the poetic phrasing throughout the book.
