My eyes see the world,

But they focus on you.

My mind wanders away,

But it always comes back to you.

My lips smile at everyone,

But they forget how to smile for you.

But you're not mine to call home.

Just another one gone wrong.

Just another piece of me left behind.

Just another name I'll never use.

So I'll stand,

With my hands tied behind my back.

My key doesn't fit your lock,

Your door doesn't lead to me.

Just another shard

Given away again.

And that's how we'll say goodbye.
