"Life will destroy you, if you let it."
"So what are you supposed to do?"
A tired sigh.
"You let it."

ANNOUNCEMENT! :)
I have a new book coming out (wait! Don't go! I know this is a poetry book!) It has a very similar structure to a lot of my recent poetry in this book. if you liked the short, story-telling style I have going on in a lot of these poems, I'd love it if you gave "The Moth" a chance.
It's not up yet, but it will be, within the next two weeks. It explores the relevance of strangers in your life, and how someone you've never met can still affect your life. Life, love, and loss. My favorite trio to write.
It's based on the poem in this book, called "The Moth."
Roughly half that book is going to be written in similar short, poetic bursts. I really hope you give it a chance when I do put it up. <3
Thank you for your time! Cheers!
