Image is of Sasha in tigreign form, running on lightning. P.S. this is my own drawing, if you use it anywhere else, you had best ask my permission first!

We heard a loud roar, that turned into a high pitch, near scream, it sounded almost exactly like nails on a chalk board towards the end, I saw Samael stop, instantly frozen by the sound, like, he recognized it, and it terrified him.

'No... Sasha, get out of here, now!' He demanded through our link.

'What, why?' Was all I could say, before I saw why, Vlad, was in control of a massive pitch black dragon, a few of its scales looked greenish, almost rotten, it had spikes all along its back, five rows of them, one directly on its spine, and two on either side. Its eyes were as red as blood, and the claws it had must have been at least eight inches long. 'What, is that thing?!'

'T-that, is Nidhogg, he is said to be the first dragon, the original, how, how is he still alive!?'

'Nidhogg?' The name seemed familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

'Yes, he was thought by most to only be a Norse myth, forgotten long ago, he is a devourer, he gnaws at the foot of yggdrasil, the world tree, he was created, when it was, nothing other than the world tree should be able to exist all those years, unless... Of course.'

'What, what is it?' I asked, needing answers.

'Vlad, has bound his life to the world tree, and Nidhogg, he truly is immortal, meaning that so is Nidhogg, this just got a lot worse.'

As Nidhogg flew high in the sky, the fear felt from the dragons was like a blanket covering the battle field, they all instinctively knew who he was. I even felt a bit of fear from Corina, 'Hey, keep your head in the game girl, we can do this.'

'Yes, I know we can, its just, I know what must be done, to stop him, and it may kill us.' Was her response.

'What, are you thinking?' I couldn't help but ask, genuinely curious.

'Allow me to have control again, it's the only way to stop something so powerful, if we don't come back from this, then, I am sorry, Sasha.' As soon as she said this, I realized just how serious this was, I felt her trying to take over, and I let her, she followed him high in the sky, tearing through the wind, and I could hear Sams frantic pleas into my mind.

'Sasha, no! He'll kill you!' Was all I heard before Corina shut him out completely, we climbed higher and higher, above the clouds, until we were face to face with the hideous beast, suspended in air, I felt him pushing on my mind, trying to communicate with me.

'Why, if it isn't a tigreign, long time since I snacked on one of you.' He then licked his lips, showing off three jagged rows of teeth, this creature truly was made for destruction.

'And it'll be longer still, beast!' Roared Corina, she then summoned a bolt of lightning from the heavens, and began racing across it, circling just around him, she was running so fast that I doubt even Sam could see anything more than a white blur.

'Just a, bit longer.' I heard her through our link, Nidhogg was trying desperately to escape, we could smell his fear, but every time he tried, he was struck again by the lightning, once Corina was satisfied with the wall she had created, she let out a roar, causing the lightning to burst, burning the very air with it's intensity. I heard trees that were a good hundred feet below, if not further, being torn apart by the power from the blast she created, the once proud castle, was reduced to a pile of rubble, surely killing the rest of the vampires inside, if not, they were seriously wounded. Nidhogg fell from the sky, badly wounded, but not quite dead, I could barely keep myself suspended with the amount of energy consumed in my attack.

'Sam, fire.' Was all I could get through our link before I blacked out, I felt myself falling, rather quickly, but someone caught me, I allowed myself to fall asleep, nearly certain that it was Sam, until I heard his voice echoing in my mind.

'NO! SASHA WAKE UP, THAT'S NOT ME!' But I simply couldn't, I heard what he said, and I knew that he was screaming, but it almost sounded muffled, like he was yelling from inside a canyon, I tried with all my might to wake up, but my eye lids felt as though they were made of lead.

I awakened somewhere, that seemed so strange, and yet, oddly familiar, there was nothing here, it was just, white, like an endless void of nothing.

"Yes, it should feel familiar my child, this, is where you came from." I heard a females voice, but there was no one here.

"What, who said that?!" I demanded, feeling as though she was hiding from me, trying to annoy me.

"So quick to temper little one, it is I, the one known to your kind as the moon goddess." Was her reply, as her figure slowly came into view, she was the very definition of perfect, she looked like she couldn't be a day over twenty, with violet eyes, a fair complexion, long, wavy, white hair gently flowing like the breeze of the night air, all the way to her waist, her dress was white, and adorned with golden accents. She wore a necklace of gold around her neck, that had a crescent moon pendant in the center.

"A-Am I dead?" I couldn't help but ask, fear pulsing through my veins.

She chuckled a bit, "No, but that doesn't mean you didn't try your best." She then walked closer to me, "Child, it is time, for you to transcend, in order for you to defeat your adversary, you will have to assume your throne, you must have the powers of a god, are you ready?"

"Wait, what does that mean, what, about Sam?"

"Sam will one day become a god, but he has yet to earn the title, you, have proven yourself worthy in battle, you have a heart filled with valor, and a soul forged of fire, you have improved even beyond what we gods imagined possible, and we have decided to allow you a seat, in our temple."

"You, keep saying me... I don't want to exist, especially forever, without Sam at my side." Was all I could think to say, there was no way I was going to chance our future together, even if it was to become a god, even if it was the only way to defeat Vlad, there's no way I could just leave him.

Her smile seemed to grow a bit at my words, "Such loyalty, and not even a dragon, most tigreign were selfish, maybe even greedy, they leaped at the chance to become a god, but you, would turn it down, to be with your love?"

I couldn't think of anything to say, so I simply nodded my head yes.
