mariyah pov "lauren you forgot to mention that I passed that stage ages ago!" I exclaim. "I know how you are" she says. "yes you do" I say turning to tyler. "what now?" I ask. I was surprisingly bored. "c-can I um... s-see it n-now?" "my sketch book?" I ask him, a bit confused. it was on the table in front of us. he nodded. "I guess" I shrug, taking my phone out of my pocket.
I felt weight lift off of me as he flipped through it. he smiled at a few drawings. then he got the the near back where I was feeling nervous about. but he didn't react to any. "your so good at drawing. did you take art?" he asks me. "I'm not good trust me. I didn't want to do art back in school" I say. "you are good! don't say your not." "your voice is so pure" I say randomly. "I hear that a lot" he replied. "I'm not surprised" I shrug.
josh and lauren came outside. "go on a double date with us pleaseeeee!" josh begs. "sure" me and tyler say at the same time. "and mariyah you have to wear a dress" lauren says. "what!?" I exclaim. I hadn't worn a dress for as long as I can remember. "or at least a skirt" lauren suggests. "your joking" I used to wear a skirt in school too. but I've gone off them. "no. come on"
so lauren took my upstairs and gave me this outfit:

"you have nice legs mariyah" lauren says. "thanks?" I say. "it's normal to compliment your friends legs!" "well I don't like- wow" mine were noice. I didn't even notice how skinny I was. luckily I shaved my legs last night so i looked alright. IM WEIRD ENOUGH NOW BEFORE SHIT GETS WEIRD!
I did my makeup and then we all went to Taco Bell as usual and after that we went to a new dessert place called Creams. it was so much fun and I'm glad lauren invited us.
