Chapter 15: Jasmine

---Chapter 15---

Jasmine's Pov

          I got a ticket for a train to San Francisco. I sat in a compartment and stared out the window, thinking of Nico. I closed my eyes at the memory. He was on the ground yelling my name, tears streamed down his face. I felt a tear escape from me, I couldn't bare the memory. Nico was so heart broken, I didn't even look back. But I had to leave, I had to go forth with my plan, even if it means death. What will come next will be unbearable, tears will stream out of everyone there. I drifted off to sleep as I thought of what is yet to come. For the first time in a while, I had a dreamless sleep, at least, it was at first.

----------Jasmine's Dream----------

          I saw Nico talking to Annabeth. I walked closer to them, apparently they couldn't see me. 

          "So what did you want to tell me Nico?" asked Annabeth. Nico surveyed the beach, then looked back at Annabeth.

          "I-it's Jasmine. She left Camp to go with her mom, and her mom's-" Nico stopped. He looked down and mumbled, barely audible. "Gaea." 

          I took a step back, shocked. He told! Nico broke his promise! Why?! I thought. "Nico, why?" I said aloud, but of course he couldn't hear me. 

          Annabeth looked as if she were thinking very hard. "We need back-up. I'll get Chiron and alarm the gods," she said sternly. Annabeth got up, but whispered into Nico's ear before she left. I was able to hear her, though. "And don't worry, I won't tell anyone about you and Drew." Nico was left alone, blushing. First, he broke his promise. Now, Nico's cheating on me with Drew?? Ahh!!! I wanted to scream, pull out my hair, go insane. Suddenly, Drew walked up to Nico and sat in his lap.

          "What's up?" she asked, as Drew batted her eyelashes. 

          "Nothing" Nico replied, wrapping his arms around Drew.  

          "Then I'll give you something interesting to do," she said, leaning in as their lips touched.

          I felt a tight pain in my chest. Hy heart had just shattered. Tears stung my eyes. "Why Nico, why?" I whispered, slowly backing away. I ran, passing by everyone that I knew at Camp, but the couldn't see me. Tears were streaming down my face as I ran and ran, not caring where to, but I kept going. I reached an unfamiliar park and leaned against a tree. I was ready to tare out my hair, scream out my pain, roll up in a ball and escape from the world. "AHH!!!" I screamed, kicking around like a crazy person and yanking on my hair. "Ι μίσος ζωή ΜΟΥ!!!"

          Suddenly, I heard a voice that I've been longing to hear. Kristina, it is ok, my darling. Now you see the true Nico Di Angelo. I calmed slowly, but tears streamed down my face like the River Stynx.

          "M-Mama?"

          Yes, sweety. I am rising, but I need you with me . Come now, awake, you are almost at Mount Tam.

----------Back to Reality----------

          I woke up with a start. I remembered everything, and I thought to myself. Mama's rising and almost here. And Nico... Anger and sadness flushed through me. "I'm doing this all for him, but he repays me like this," I mumbled to myself. There was one thing I was sure of, though. "I need to complete this."

Sorry I haven't updated in FOREVER!!! But I did now! :D Ookkaayy so just to clarify, Gaea gave Jasmine that dream. And that last part where she said, "I need to complete this," Jasmine's got a little plan that will be revealed soon ;)) Sorry for this really short chapter, I was just trying to at least update a bit before next week, which will also be my STAR testing week :<< Sad, I know... Anyway, PLEASE tell me what you think!!!
