Chapter 6: Nico

---Chapter 6---

Nico's Pov

          Best. Kiss. Ever. I couldn't help but smile as I pulled away, Jasmine resting her head on my chest. Nothing can ruin this perfect moment, I thought. Of course, I was wrong.

          Get away from my Kristina! someone yelled, At first, I thought it was just my imagination, but I heard the voice again, this time laughing in enjoyment. So we meet again, Prince of Death. That voice sounded so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Do not try anything on her, or you'll be locked up, AGAIN. Locked up? What the heck? "Who's there?" I asked aloud. Jasmine looked up at me.

          "Who's where?" she asked.

          "You didn't hear that voice?" I asked.

          "What are you talking about, I don't-" Jasmine stopped talking and her eyes widened. "I-I need to go, bye Nico," Jasmine sluttered before hopping off and heading towards the cabins. I watched as Jasmine entered the Athena cabin, not looking back once.

          What the heck just happened? I thought to myself. Why, you drove her away, said the voice in my head again. Whoever was talking to me laughed as if to know how frightened I was. I'm surprised. After three years, you still do not remember me, now do you? That sent a chill down my spine. Do you not remember when you were imprisoned? The voice laughed, mocking me. I'll get back at your retched sister for helping you escape. Do not worry, I will make sure that her death goes by slowly, adding all the tortures that I am suffering being stuck in Tartarus!!! shouted the voice at me. The ground started to shake, causing me to fall off of Zues's Fist. What in Hades is going on?! I thought. Before I knew it, I was being pulled to the ground, as if the whole earth was trying to eat me. Earth. Tartarus. It's Gaea, I thought. It finally hit me. "Let me go Gaea!!!" I yelled in frustration. I grabbed my sword and tried hacking at the ground, but I kept sinking in. "I thought the seven sent you into Tartarus!!!" I yelled, hoping that someone would hear. Not one person was around. Where is everyone? Don't they hear me screaming?!?!?! I thought. They are all too busy to pay attention to you, Son of Hades, chimed Gaea. Out of nowhere, Jasmine came racing up to me, sword in hand.

          "Nico!" she yelled as Jasmine came up to me. Her eyes widened as she saw what was happening. Before I could say anything, Jasmine held out her hand, the same way Percy does when he's controlling water. She moved her hand over the earth where Gaea was trying to pull me into.

          "  Ελευθερώστε τον ," said Jasmine, who was now closing her eyes, trying to focus. As if in response, Gaea let me go. I got up, afraid that Gaea would swallow me up again.

          "Thanks. If it weren't for you, I'd probably be buried by now," I said, smiling. 

          Jasmine smiled weakly. "You nearly died a second ago and your smiling?" she said, laughing.

          "Yeah. I wouldn't be if it were someone else who rescued me, but for you, I'll smile anytime," I said, smiling even bigger. Jasmine giggled and playfully hit my arm.

          "You're insane, Death Boy," she said, smiling up at me.

          "Death Boy? What's that, like a new nickname?" I asked, laughing at the nickname. Jasmine nodded and started laughing.

          I pouted, but said," Then I ge to call you Jazzy."

          "Ok," she said, smiling. "Lets go before anything else bad happens," Jasmine said more seriously.

          "Yes, Ma'am!" I saluted to her, and started marching to my cabin. Jasmine smiled and followed me inside. I patted my bed, signaling for her to sit down. I pulled Jasmine up to sit on my lap, which she did gleefully. I wrapped my arms around her and made Jasmine smile. "How'd you do that," I blurted out.

          Jasmine looked at me oddly. "Do what?"

          "Control the ground; It-it listened to you, remember? How?" I asked questionably.

          "Um, I-I don't know," she responded, looking down nervously. I stared at her, worrying.

          "Are you ok?" I asked, hoping for her to tell me what's bothering her.

          "Y-yeah, I-I'm fine," Jasmine said, attempting to give me a convincing  smile, but failed.

          "Mmmhmmm," I trailed off, rolling my eyes. "What's up? C'mon, you can tell me. What's bothering you?"

          Jasmine closed her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Nothing's wrong, I'm fine, really." I wiped away the tear, and held her closer.

          "Please tell me. I don't want you to cry," I said calmly. Jasmine started to tear up.

          "I-I can't," she croaked. "I'm sorry," Jasmine whispered. I nodded and didn't ask any further questions. Something's bothering her, and I'll figure it out, just not now, I thought.

Chapter 6, done and done! Kay, so Gaea's only nice to Jasmine, but she is still evil... When will Jasmine tell Nico??? What will everyone think if they find out about her mom??? Why am I asking you all these questions??? LoL... Kk BiBi!!!                   Comment, fan, & vote!!!
