Chapter 8: Nico

---Chapter 8---

Nico's Pov

          Jasmine told me who her godly parent was, the person I would least expect. Gaea. My first thought, Oh. My. Gods. That explains a lot. Jasmine's eye color changing into only grass green, dirt brown, brown, blue sometimes, and even so dark that they look black. Her hair getting darker and sometimes lighter, but always somewhat brown. No wonder she has a ring that almost looks like the earth, and it always moves, just barely. That's how Jasmine was able to save me from the grip of the earth. And Gaea wanted me to get away from her daughter so bad that she nearly killed me!

          Jasmine stared at me and looked down sadly. "See, now you think of me as a total freak. You're going to take off and tell Chiron and the others to keep alert because I'm here," she said, tears starting to sting her eyes.

          I shook my head. "No, I won't I promised that I wouldn't tell anyone, and I'm not going to break that promise." Jasmine stared at me with her now blue eyes, filled with tears. I wiped away her tears a cupped her cheek so she would face me.  

          "No matter what you tell me, I'll always love you. I don't care if your mother is Gaea, even though she tried to kill me hundreds of times. No matter how much I despise her, I'll still love you," I told Jasmine in a calming voice. Jasmine managed a meek smile. I leaned in and kissed her. There go the fireworks again, I thought. I felt Jasmine smile into the kiss and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I did the same with her, wrapping my arms around her waist. Jasmine pulled away, a bit too earlier than I wanted, and buried her head in my chest. 

          "I love you, Nico," she said.

          "I love you more," I said before kissing her again. This time, Jasmine didn't pull away. She kissed me harder. Two can play at that game, I thought, smirking. I pulled her closer and kissed her with more passion. I felt Jasmine smirk and she pulled me into the water. She put an air bubble around us so that I could breath. All the underwater creatures acted as if nothing happened, but a few fish stopped to watch us before returning to whatever they were doing. Jasmine smiled and giggled a little.

          "The fish asked 'What died?'," she told me, laughing. I rolled my eyes, smiling, and pulled Jasmine closer into my arms.

          "So now we're underwater in the lake," I started. "What now?"

          She looked at me and instead of answering, Jasmine smacked her lips on mine. I kissed her and pulled her even closer, if that were possible. We continued like this for a few minutes until she leaned back a bit, just enough to breath. Jasmine rested her forehead on mine. I smiled at the look of her eyes.

          "What?" she asked. I chuckled.

          "Your eyes are grass green now," I told her, smiling. "You're so beautiful, you know." 

          Jasmine smiled and said, "I know, you never stop telling me." I kissed her one last time before we swam up to the surface, soaking wet, actually Jasmine was totally dry. We headed to Hades's cabin so I could change. I went to the bathroom to take a shower while Jasmine went around camp. 

          Now you know our little secret. If you dare tell a single soul, I will go after YOU first once I escape Tartarus!!! yelled Gaea in my head. I won't tell any- wait, when you escape? I asked, adding sarcasm to the last part.

          Gaea didn't answer. Shoot! I need to tell Percy and Annabeth!!! Wait, I can't tell them, they'll ask too many questions about how I know. What do I do?! I can't let Gaea come back! What do I do, what do I do, what do I do?!?!

Chapter 8 100% Complete. Yay! Haha... Oh yeah, I'm trying to find a good picture of a girl about 15 with dark brown hair and eyes in the color of either one of these (brown, dark brown, dark almost black, grass green, or blue.) In other words, the picture needs to look kinda like Jasmine. Message me a link of the pics and I'll choose the best one!!!
