Girl's Night

"Hello?" I say, picking up the phone.

"Hey Elena! What are you doing tonight?" Caroline replies.

"Umm.. Nothing much, considering it's Saturday. Why? What's going on?"

"Perfect! I've planned a sleepover tonight for us! Bonnie will be joining us too!! You in?"

"Yes of course! I'd love that!" I say, squealing.

"Hahahaha perfect. So be at my house at around 7 ish?"

"Sure! I'll be there! Should I get something?"

"Alright. No. I've got everything. Love you."

"Love you more." I say, hanging up.

The clock ticked 4 and I yawned.

CAN IT BE 7 ALREADY?!

I decided to kill some time by going out for a walk in the woods.

The weather was perfect. It was sunny but there was a chill in the weather.

My kind of weather.

The trees were daunting. I had already been here a thousand times so I was following the trail I usually did.

My earphones were on and I was singing along to the songs loudly, knowing that no one usually comes here.

So here's a secret.

While exploring the woods the other day, I came across a bench hidden behind the bushes.

Me being the nosey person I am, I decided to take a look at it.

And I am glad I did.

That day I found my thinking spot.

The view from there was amazing.

The bench overlooked the whole town and it was even prettier during the fall time.

So, that was where I was headed right now.

It had been over an hour since I was here.

I should be heading back.

Walking down the path, I accidentally bump into someone.

"Oh sorry............" I say, looking up at the person.

"Hey! Elena! What.........How?"

"Stefan?! What are you doing here?!" I say, shock evident on my face.

"I got bored at home so I decided to take a walk here. Now, what are you doing here?"

"Same as you. Wait. How do you know this place?"

"I found it once when I was exploring the woods."

"Ahhhhhhh. Me too!! Well do you know about the bench right over there?" I say pointing towards where I came from.

"Yeah! That place is my thinking place. Why?"

"HOW CAN WE BE SO SIMILAR?! THAT IS MY THINKING PLACE TOO!!!"

Stefan starts laughing, and I join him.

This is weird.

I check my watch and it said, 6:10.

"Crap! I gotta go. I have this sleepover with the girls. I'll see you soon?"

"You bet."

"Okay."

I give him a quick peck on the lips and go my way.

*An Hour Later*

I knock on the door.

"Elena!" Someone says from behind me.

I turn back and there's Bonnie.

"Hey! Bon!"

"Hey!! So, are you excited?!"

"Yes!!!!!"

"HEY GIRLS!!!!!" Caroline says, opening the door, clearly excited.

"COME ON IN"

We group hug and proceed to Care's bedroom.

"Hey Care? Where's Sheriff Forbes?"

"Oh, she's on duty. She'll be back in the morning."

"WOOHOOO!!!!!" I hear someone yell.

"BEST SLEEPOVER EVER." Caroline yells, giggling.

We were having a mini dance party and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!

I learned new moves by the way.

20 songs later, we slump down, exhausted.

Catching my breathe, I say, "Care!! What are we doing next?!"

"Watching a movie!!!!! I've ordered pizza and it should be here soon!"

"Which movie?"

"MEAN GIRLS!!!" Caroline says.

"YES!" Me and Bonnie say in unison.

"Just relax till then." Caroline says resting her head on Bonnie's shoulder.

My phone starts ringing, and it is Stefan.

I smile to myself before I receive it.

"How is the slumber party going on?" He says.

"Perfect and much needed."

"Good to know."

"When can you and I have one?" I say in a flirtatious tone.

"Mmmmm. That can be arranged." He says, giggling.

"Fantastic."

"ELENA! THE PIZZA'S HERE!!!" I hear Caroline yell from downstairs.

"I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!" I yell back.

"Stefan. I gotta go. I'll talk to you tomorrow?"

"Absolutely. And hey! I am waiting for that slumber party of ours." He says devilishly.

"Alright Mr. Salvatore." I say chuckling.

I hang up and go downstairs for the movie and pizza.

We finally fall asleep around 2 and I have to say, It was one of the best days till date.
