*A few days later*
"Hey Elena." Stefan said, closing his textbook.
"Yeah?" I say turning to look at him.
"Do you wanna work together for the History project? Would you like to be my partner?" He asks, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Of course! It would be an honor Mr. Salvatore."
"Fantastic. Wanna come by my place after school."
"You mean like your house?" I say, a questioning look on my face.
I have never been to his house before.
"Yeah." He says laughing.
"I've never seen your house before."
"Well then.... You can see it today."
"Oh. Alright. I'll be there."
"Cool."
*After school*
I reach home and I practically run up to my room to freshen up.
I can't believe that I am going to Stefan's house.
I quickly look at myself in the mirror.
I look fine.
I just add a dab of lip gloss, run my hands through my hair and there. I'm done.
Stefan had texted me the address so I just had to find it. I was nervous. I don't even know why I was nervous.
After driving around for 10 mins, I finally reach his house.
I pull up into the driveway and I see Stefan standing on the porch, waiting for me.
He descends the stairs to come open the door of my car.
UGHH. SUCH A GENTLEMAN.
TYPICAL STEFAN.
"Hey you." He says, enveloping me in a hug.
"Hey." I reply.
THAT COLOGNE SMELLS GREAT.
ELENA! STOP !
"Elena?" Stefan says, snapping me back into reality.
"Oh sorry. What were you saying?"
"I asked if you were planning to come inside?"
"Oh yeah. Of Course."
As I enter his house, I am hit by the amazing smell of cookies baking in the oven.
My stomach growls and my cheeks flush instantly.
"Hi!! You must be Elena!" A woman, probably around the age of my parents, says.
" Elena. This is my mom. Lily Salvatore. And mom, this is Elena Gilbert." Stefan says smiling.
"Hello Mrs. Salvatore! It's a pleasure to meet you!" I say grinning hugely.
"Oh please call me Lily." His mom says hugging me.
I LOVE HER ALREADY.
Mrs. Salvatore pulls away, smiling at me.
"Stefan has told me so much about you! He keeps talking about how amazing you are!"
