23: Tzuyu

"Tzuyu! Are you ready?" Mina shouted from the living room. Seriously? I have to go in this blind date? What if that boy is a gangster?

You really have a wide imagination, Tzuyu. Gangsters don't exist in Korea! Only bad guys!

I looked at my reflection at the mirror. I'm wearing a simple blue dress, and high heels. I breathed heavily. These thoughts about this blind date is bothering me the whole day!

I grabbed my sling bag then went downstairs. I saw Mina — also wearing a simple but elegant red dress then a necklace. She grinned at me then handed me a blindfold. Nayeon grabbed it then she tied it on my face.

"Good luck, maknae." Momo said then patted my shoulder. I pouted as we got in the car. My hands are trembling, and I'm freaking nervous.

"I'm sure you will be happy to your blind date." Mina said then laughed. I bit my lower lip. Ugh, why am I so nervous?

After a few minutes, the car stopped. I think we're already here. Mina guided me to go out of the car until a boy's hand held my hand. His hand is smooth tho.

The boy guided me to sit down and then he untied my blindfold. I fixed my clothes and my hair, seeing nobody is sitting in front of me. Where's my blind date? Is he late or something?

I texted Mina asking where is my blind date, but she said he's already here before we got here. I raised my eyebrow, tilted my head — looking for somebody.

Me: Myoui Mina where is he?!

Mina: idk, maybe he's planning a surprise.

Me: seriously? That is really cheesy.

Mina: idk tzuyu.

Me: if he will not show up to me in 30 mins, i'll go home.

Mina: oki!

"You looking for me, huh?"

I turned my head to the person who just spoke. My eyes widened as he grinned to me then he walked towards me.

"Jungkook?!" I stood up from my seat then slapped him hard. "What was that for?!" He asked me, covering the cheek I slapped with his palm.

"Are you real?" I asked him, touching his face. He chuckled. "Of course, Tzuyu, it's me." He said as he sat down.

I have doubts in here. Jungkook is shy, he's shy to talk to me. And now, why is he so confident today? I observed his face. It's exactly Jungkook. How did he learn to earn so much confidence right now?

"Stop staring at me, I might melt." He suddenly said while the waiters are serving our meal. I looked away and focused to the meals.

"You didn't expect me, huh?" He asked me when I started eating. I nodded as I divided the steak into small parts.

"You know Tzuyu, I like you." He said, ignoring it. I didn't feel anything, because I always get that a lot in fan meetings. I looked at him, then he looked away.

I just remembered something...

I shook my head then continued eating. The waiters served the shakes then I drank 1/4 of it. Yeah, I like shakes very much.

Jungkook took me a walk around the garden when we finished our meals. And I'm stuck in an awkward situation right now...

"Do you remember the first time we met?"

I looked at him, scratching his nape. I observed that he's trying to break the awkwardness between us.

"Uh yeah. You were so arrogant that time." I replied then chuckled. In my peripheral vision, he looked at me. I stopped walking.

"Problem?" I asked him, waving my hand in front of his eyes. He gazed at me then smiled nervously.

"Uhm, Tzuyu..." he said. I waited for him to speak, then he suddenly shook his head. I continued walking as I rolled my eyes.

"What is he trying to say?" I thought. And he is back to his shy type now.

I grabbed my phone as it vibrated. I read Mina's message.

Mina: Tzuyu, we have to go now. Nayeon unnie wants us to go home now.

Me: okay~

Mina: meet me outside the car.

Me: k

I glanced at Jungkook and he looked at me. I smiled. "I have to go now." I said, while he's heading me to the car.

"What are you trying to say earlier?" I asked. He chuckled.

"Can I court you?"

I finally update Second Chances! Yay! Sorry for the late update, I have a serious writer's block, and I'm feeling the summer.

I can't update these week or onwards because I have to take different HS Entrance Tests.
