"Okay seriously, why do you think this will work?" I ask my best friend (B/F/N).

"I know Charlie, she will love you, plus you aren't doing so great with the ladies." (B/F/N) notes.

I roll my eyes and put on a light lip gloss. My (e/c) eyes seem a little bit faded today.

I sigh and (B/F/N) hugs me. "You will love Charlie I promise."

I smile and release from the hug. I open the door and walk outside.

I sit in the centre of the Orange Toad. The orange toad is a little breakfast and coffee place.

Im really really nervous. I hear the bell jingle and look up. A redhead woman stands looks around and her eyes land on me.

"You are (Y/n) right?" The woman asks me.

I nod and she sits on the chair in front of me.

"I'm am so sorry for being late, I went to the wrong place." She reassures me.

"It's fine, it's a pretty big place here." I laugh a little bit.

"You know for a travel agent you'd think I'd have a better sense of direction." Charlie jokes.

"Yeah, that's funny." I laugh a little bit more.

"What do you do for a job?" Charlie asks me.

"I'm a writer, I love writing fiction novels." I tell her in between sips of my coffee.

She nods and looks around at the decorations.

"What kind of places do you travel?" I ask her.

She gulps then wipes her face. "I mainly travel in the U.S, I like to stay close to home." She explains.

I smile and take a deep breath. Charlie seems pretty cool so far, but she seems a little suspicious, like she wants to hide something.

I better not ask.

Needless to say, the date went very well. We told jokes, learned about each other, and had a lot of fun. I kissed her cheek as we left.

That is definitely not the last time I am going to see Charlie.
