Levy? When Did You Get Tall?

Person A is super sad and it’s super late so they call up their best friend to tell them to meet person A in the park. When person A hears a car pull up, they automatically assume that it’s their best friend, but in reality eNTER PERSON B. Now person B is being tackled in the dark out of nowhere with some random stranger crying into their chest about their latest existential crisis. What happens next is up to u my friend.

Lucy is currently bawling her eyes out, because of two reasons:

1.her boyfriend just broke up with her OVER THE PHONE!

2. and the book she just read is so sad!

She thought she could read a book so she could cheer herself up and not bother anyone, at first it was working but then it turned more miserable, and in turn she became more sad then she was, she hadn't intended and even tried to stop herself since it was so late, but she called her friend Levy and told her to meet her at the park they always went to,

"What's wrong? Wha-"

"I will tell you everything once I see you, bye" she hang up without hearing levy's response, and got changed while sniffling every once in a while, she finished and went out the door making sure to lock it.

she walked to the park and sat on the swing waiting for Levy, she noticed a small cute purse nearby, but payed no attention to it, she saw a car park, and she shot up from her seat.

she couldn't see the car but she was sure that was levy, I mean who else would be at the park so late? Lucy's eyes were glassy, as she threw her arms out and hugged levy, she wailed and cried, "Levy! My boyfriend dumped me! On the phone! Can you believe that jerk!? I mean if you're going to break up do it to my face you gutless bastard! Wahh!" She wailed on, but it slowly died down when she noticed that Levy, wasn't saying anything and was stiff and... Taller?

"Levy? Since when did you get this muscular and..." Lucy looked down expecting to see Levy instead she saw legs, her eyes trailed up and looked in front of her, she saw a chest definitely not a woman's, her eyes went up and she noticed a defined jaw.

"..tall.." her eyes finally focused on the face, and was surprised when she saw a man staring back at her awkwardly, fidgeting a bit, Lucy for a few minutes couldn't process what was happening, but as soon as she did she practically flew away.

"oh my God, I'm so sorry! I thought you were someone else, oh my.. This is embarrassing and awkward." They stayed in silence until the guy started to chuckle a bit, but then started to laugh.

Lucy stared at the guy confused, why was he laughing? He was supposed to feel awkward! but then her mind thought of what just happened and she found that it indeed is hilarious, she soon started to laugh too, after a bit the laughter died down and lucy stared at the ground awkwardly, what should she do? Should she strike up a conversation? Should she leave? Should she wait until he left? all those roamed her mind and she couldn't choose, but the man choose for her

"I'm Natsu Dragneel!" "Oh! Uh..um.. I'm Lucy! Nice to.. Uh..meet you Natsu!" They talked for a while, it turned out he came to the park so late at night so he can get his little sisters purse that she forgot here.

'how nice' Lucy thought until he said she forced him by giving him the irresistible puppy eyes, and Lucy laughed at the that, she told stories that were also funny about her friends like Erza and Levy

"And then there was this one time where Levy bought a new book that she liked so much, she stayed up for three days without sleep so she can finish it, it was a big book."

"But Erza after seeing that Levy had eyebags so dark, couldn't let that pass by and tried to force Levy to sleep, Levy wouldn't accept, so Erza hit her on the head and made her fall unconscious, I was so worried but Erza said it was for her own good!" She looked at natsu to see his reaction, when she noticed he had a blank expression.

"Erza...erza...erza?! I know her! She's terrifying!" He shuddered thinking about it, that woman is a monster in disguise!

Lucy chuckled "true, she can get pretty scary but give her cheesecake and you'll think it's another person." Natsu laughed and thought of a story he could tell.

"Oh yeah I remember that one time gray or ice princess-"

"Why would you call him that?"

"It's fun" Lucy giggled, and natsu dorkily grinned, and started telling the story.

"We went to the bar, he has this weird habits to strip randomly. Yes, strip. anyway, so he stripped in that bar, and people started to cheer for him to strip dance! I laughed so hard i almost peed myself,  but i started to cheer too, but ice princess kept on rejecting, and the people started booing, this went on until he agreed!"

"And began strip dancing, most of the girls fainted, and others threw money and cheered, at the end he got 100$ he could've got more but most of the girls fainted" Lucy laughed so much at this, Natsu took out his phone when it rang, he brought it to his ears

"yeah? Yeah I found it.... OK OK I'm coming home in a bit... Yeah yeah okay bye" he hang up and turned to Lucy with a sad expression,

"sorry I have to go now"

"its okay!" He smiled and got up, he walked to his car waving before getting in, he sped off and Lucy decided to leave, but she noticed the purse, she shrugged he would come back for it, whether he liked it or not. Lucy chuckled. And left the park, she reached her home before realizing that Levy hadn't came and she forgot her earphones,

"ugh i don't want to go back", she opened her phone which she shut down, and noticed a missed call from Levy and a message from her too

'Sorry I can't come right now'
'Sorry'
'So'
'Sorry'

Lucy sighed, and turned she had to get her earphones.

"Found you! what brought back there?" Lucy questioned as she took her earphones from on top of the bush behind the swing.

"I need to sleep" she turned and walked towards her house when she bumped into someone.

"Ow sorry-Natsu? Oh you noticed that you missed the thing you came for huh?" Natsu scratched his and grinned he grabbed the purse.

"Yup ahaha" Lucy smiled at him and shook her head, she said her goodbye

"bye Luce!" He gave her a nickname? Aww! She waved until he was out of sight. Oh she really wish she would meet him again.... Wait.... Why didn't she ask for his phone number?

        'Oh how dumb can you be lucy!?'

Whenever I see these OTP writing prompt the first ship I think of is naturally nalu, even though I have many many ships, the only ship that comes to mind is nalu, this is a one shot but if you want I can take requests, just say the ship and the writing prompt or maybe the idea you would like to read, I'm not the best writer but I will try, bye!
