Two Clarinets and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

Ok, so yesterday during 4th period science, our teacher gave us a free day to go out to the football field and hang out the whole class. Well, Spunky had her clarinet with her and DiAngelo had his, so....Mwahahahaha!!!!!!!  Spunky had an extra clarinet mouthpiece and enough reeds for her whole section, so I took DiAngelo's Clarinet (with his permission) and put Spunky's mouthpiece and reed on it, and Spunky and I played clarinet with the teacher's permission the whole class period. It was awesome! It's not like we were inside or anything...

Also, our band director is moving to Florida after this school year is over to do music for Disney and Pixar studios. We were actually doing music, instrument, and uniform inventory all last week, as well as cleaning and repairs. So, he's starting to get rid of some of his stuff. He actually put a free table at the front of the classroom with everything from VHS tapes to Pretty Little Liars. He's been giving away a lot of books--and this is just the fourth day of doing it! Underneath the table....there was a box of Christmas decorations. Spunky ended up getting some tinsel to wrap on her clarinet. There were also some Christmas lights, but they weren't battery powered ☹️. So far, I've got:

The Maze Runner (which I'm about a hundred pages into so far and I only got it today. What's sad is I'm picturing almost everyone in there as someone from band XD)

The 5th Wave

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (which I have already read and I have it, but the version that I just now got is the version with the new cover.)

And:

Photography for Dummies

There's still more yet to come, so I'll let you guys know if I get anything wacky.

Also, in fifth period today, I was in band hall waking into the instrument room when I saw a mouse scurry behind a filing cabinet...

Ok, bye.
