"Natalie," I sighed. "It's perfect, sweetie."

"I love that name," Newt said smiling. "I liked that one and Freya."

"Well what if we gave her a middle name?" I thought suddenly. Newt and I had spent awhile trying to decide between those two name. "You know? Natalie Freya."

"It's a good idea love, but I think we should save that name for later," Newt said smiling.

I smiled back. Newt and I lay on the bed together holding Natalie. She was sleeping right now. She was so cute. Newt loved playing with her little fists. We were smiling for the first time in a while (I had a moody pregnancy) when Alby burst in the room. I had to shush him so he wouldn't wake Natalie.

"Newt," he said looking strangely worried. "You have to come. It's the Greenie. It's a girl."

Newt got up and ran as fast as he could with his limp. I sat up in bed. I got up carrying Natalie in my arms. Clint came in and tried to make me sit down. I wouldn't have it. I had spent almost a year as the only girl here and then in one day I got two girls.

I made sure Natalie was was still quietly sleeping while I ran softly to the Box. Upon arrival I found a girl in as deep of sleep as Natalie. She had long dark brown hair and a thin face. She was really pretty. Newt went to her side and I immediately felt a pang of jealousy. I knew I shouldn't but she was pretty and Newt was by her side.

"Newt," I called. "Can you come hold the baby."

My voice made everyone turn. Some boys glanced at Natalie and others smiled encouragingly at me. Newt looked at me and fear spread across his face. Then anger.

"Y/N you shouldn't be out here. Go back to the medjacks and rest," Newt ordered me. I got mad.

"How dare you," I said gawking at him. "I can do what I please. Natalie is fine and sleeping, that girl is just plain past out. Now, will you take the baby."

Gally came up looking cautious and glancing back and forth between me and Newt.

"Here y/n," Gally said coming towards me. "I'll take her."

"Step away from my daughter," Newt said threateningly.

"Newt, calm down," I said. What was happening? I just wanted to help with the other girl and my husband was losing his mind. I felt tears in my eyes. "I'll just go. I'll see you at our house." I added glancing at the other girl.

Natalie was starting to wake up from all the noise so I quickly walked to our house. I didn't turn around all the way there. I climbed the ladder with Natalie in one arm and when I came to the top I couldn't help but smile. Someone, probably Gally, had made a crib that could rock. I smiled and put Natalie down and tried to rock her but she started fussing so I had to feed her again.

While Natalie ate I thought back on what happened with Newt. All I wanted to do was help. And why did he look at her like she was his number one concern. I knew I might have been over the top too but I kept remembering how Newt didn't call me "love." He said my name in anger.

I put Natalie down on my bed and played with her for a bit. It made me sad to look in her happy face because when I looked at her, I only saw the parts of Newt in her. That is, all but my y/c/e eyes which were Newt's favorite things about me After about maybe two hours it got really dark and Natalie was sleeping. I put her in her crib and laid down in my bed and waited for Newt. He came maybe twenty minutes later. I couldn't help but fake sleep. I didn't want to look at him.

I heard him put something down and then move to the crib where he rocked Natalie before coming and sitting on the bed. He tapped me on the shoulder and whispered my name. I kept my eyes closed and he sighed and went to his side of the bed.

That was the first night we slept apart.
