Kyla's life changes when a new guy gets involved and comes from a hard past. she knows she cant and shouldn't get involved with Ethan but after she learns something about her dad she has no one to turn too. Ethan is the last person she wants to turn too, but he's the only there when she needs someone the most. When fate forces them together she finds comfort in him. While he helps her, she ends up helping him since no one is really there for him. Together they go through very hard obstacles and try to find one thing they haven't felt in a long time. love.

Prologue:
"I am tired of you! You do nothing during the day and you can't manage to supper done by five? Am I supposed to go to work all day and cook when I get home? No, I married you so I don't have to do all that."
I was hiding behing the kitchen bar watching my parents argue. I never see them fight, they always wait until after I have gone to bed. Yeah, like that makes a difference, it still keeps me awake. My eyes widen when I see my dad throw his glass across the room, shattering it all over the kitchen. I bite my lip to hold the scream back when he slaps her across the face.
