Chapter 2
- Healed & Replenished.

I let out a deep breath the running sink kinda sounded like the babbling brook that was near the academy sometimes I would sneak out at night and just play with the water it felt so soothing just hearing the water rush ..

Slowly I sat up a bit in the corner and just looked the the water flowing and I placed my hand up slowing moving it forward and backward letting my finger move freely I could see the bubbles of water floating around the small compartment of a restroom but I didn't care I felt so free even if it was a five by four compartment of space. I play with the water bubbles pushing some together and pulling others apart.

I missed using my powers freely.

I had a smile ear to ear just playing with the waters brought out the giddy little kid in me. And I haven't felt like a little kid in a while. Them I touched a medium sized water bubble causing I to vaporize into thin air I did that with every bubble until there was only one. I motioned my hand foward causing the bubble to move towards me then I closed my eye and held the bubble to my hand. A blast of coldness hit the palm of my hand shooting to my arm . Then im my hand was the tiny ice cube of a bubble I placed the bubble in the sink and touched it once more causing it to melt slowing then draining in the sink.

I looked at my reflection I looked so tired.

My once so vivid golden brown hair was now dull and lifeless .

The beautiful bouncy curls my hair once had, now flat and limp.

My lips looked dry.

My soft small pale pink lips now dry and a frost white.

My eyes looked so tired and sleepy with deep dark circles and bags under them.

My big ocean blue eye were now very bleak and dull.

I opened the faucet and placed my hands under the cool water ,then I cupped my hands and placed it under the running water a lowered my head and let the water rush through my face.

I looked in the mirror again and I saw my eyes were back to normal my hair back to its original color and had its curl the pale pink lips were back .

"Woah.. what just happened?!" I whispered to myself freaking out.

I didn't know my powers could do this but I'm happy they did you never know when it might come in handy .

Then I heard a knock in a flash I moved my head towards the door. " Sweety are you okay?" my mother said concerned knocking a few more times.

"MOM I'm okay don't have a whale !" I said trying to make her laugh

"I might just have one if you don't get out THEN the plane will crash AND then we will end up in a forest scourging for nuts and berries! AHHHH!" she said banging on the door trying to sound hysterical.

I slowly got out and looked at my beautiful mother while hugging her , her blonde hair with brown eyes and tanned skin. She's so beautiful. She smiled and tucked some loose hair behind my ear and kissed my head.

"Your father would have been so proud of you. Your a spitting image of him

You have his wits , courage, and his bravery most of all you have the biggest heart imagined its hard to believe your heart hasn't exploded out of your chest." she said poking my chest .

I looked at her with my big blue eyes as a tear ran down my cheek.

I miss my dad so much.

He did in war after my sister was born.

I have a picture of him in my locket that mother gave my when i was ten one has a picture of him and my mom they got married, and the other is a picture of my twin brother Caleb and my baby sister Serena.

I slowly rubbed my locket as my mother wiped my tear. "I know you miss and so do I, but I also know how he would be so proud of you knowing what your doing,

I love you sweety and no matter what I always will ." she said crying but smiling and laughing through it all.

"Mom I love you too ." I said crying even more now that she was crying to.

We laughed and cried more .

I miss spending time with my mom.

Then the intercom of the plane interrupted our beautiful moment!

"This is your Captain Jimenez speaking all passengers please remain seated for the course of the journey thank you."

I find it odd he said all passengers since it was only my mom and me.

"I guess we have to sit down." I said smiling as I hugged her one more time.

I sat down then she kissed my head again.

" Go to sleep sweety your going to need your rest relax you won't be having free time like this for a while now." she said as I sat down by the seat near the window .

"okay I will ." I said smiling closing my eyes.
